Review: Revolution Skincare London, 1% Salicylic Acid, Marshmallow Extract, Serum, 30mlI was very nervous about using this type of product on my face due to frequent sensitivites to various products. That’s why I purchased this formulation as it’s the weakest solution of this particular range.As an adult, I still occasionally get acne or poor skin, and my usual routine wasn’t quite doing the job during certain times of the month. This product range and type came up well in online reviews, and the price is low enough that if it didn’t suit me, I could just bin it with no regrets.The first thing I noticed after I’d unpacked the serum was that it wasn’t obvious how I was supposed to apply it. Online videos showed people putting a few drops in the palm of the hand and then patting their forehead and cheeks with it. But I don’t have spots there! I have blocked pores in the creases around my nose and chin! So I ignored those videos and made up my own method, which works for me.What I do is dampen a cotton-wool pad, put 3 or 4 drops of the serum onto the damp pad, then rub it onto my face, concentrating on the nose and chin areas where I suffer blocked pores, and completely avoiding the eye area. I finish up by running the pad over my cheeks and forehead. I have been doing this a couple of times a week for a month, and there is clearly an improvement in the condition of my skin, with fewer blocked pores or spots. I have been very pleased with these results and will keep using this product.

Review: I’ve suffered with acne for over 15 years, it’s a constant battle of products to help control my oily skin.. however salicylic acid has also been a go to product and this one in particular has helped reduce my acne somewhat!
