Title: excellent customer support
Review: My first Horus keyboard wouldn’t charge so couldn’t use it on wifi/bluetooth. Redragon customer support were quick to respond and sent a replacement without any quibbles. The replacement worked straight out of the box. The battery doesn’t last that long and when it’s time to recharge it gave me no warning – it just died. It’s easy to hit the wrong key because the key switches are so light – they are easily triggered if you accidently hit an adjacent key; more so than a standard writing keyboard where the occasional misskey won’t result in a sentence fall of mistakes. I’ve noticed that the C key can be a bit temparamental and have had to hit it a few times before it responded. Not sure if this is a 2.4Ghz connetion issue. I don’t use this for gaming but I guess the light keys give a very quick response time.A few of the character keys don’t have the traditional symbols on. For instance the number 3 key has Hash symbol on it but hitting Shift + 3 gives you a £ and the apostrophe symbol gives you a @ with the shift key instead of a double apostrophe. The media buttons work ok – with some applications you need to press the Pause button before adjusting the sound via the built in wheel as it appears to disengage very quickly. Other users appear to have the same issue but if you press the pause button quickly on and off to re-engage the system, the wheel will adjust the volume.I don’t know what the Redragon software does – whenever I open it, it says the keyboard is disconnected even when it’s charging with the cable connected – so I uninstalled it.I think it does what is expected of it and the RGB lighting is nice and bright and it has a nice low profile which counteracts some of my niggles about the light key pressure and a couple of the key cap symbol assignments. I haven’t tried to program any of the macros yet. The best thing about this keyboard is that customer services will respond if you have any issues. It’s a sorry state of affairs in the world when that comes as a surprise, but having a human being take responsibility for their product has become like gold dust and they were great, clearly because I had a faulty product.I bought this after my Corsair K70 RGB Mk2 died (my fault for messing with the keys) and I didn’t want to pay another £150 for a new one. It’s not a patch on the Corsair but it was also well under half the price of the Corsair on Black Friday and is a good alternative if you can put up with some basic issues.4 stars for brightness because it goes into sleep mode very quickly.4 stars for Ergonomic because of a few key cap symbol assignments and the overly light key switches.4 stars for gaming because an accidental press of a ‘Crouch’ or ‘Throw Grenade’ key could spell disaster in the heat of frenzied battle.3 to 4 stars overall because, whilst it looks nice, this is not a premium product. I bought mine for £65 but wouldn’t pay more for it.

Title: Keys way too sensitive.
Review: First the return key has been split into 2 with 1 half replaced with a \ key. Though it is actually a # key when you press it. I have seen this once before but why change from the standard format. I dont think i have ever heard anyone ever say ‘the return key is to big on this keyboard’. Please stop doing this.Second and most impotantly the keys are way too sensitive. When playing a game you’ll be riding/running along a bridge or somewhere and all of a sudden your character will suddenly turn left and run off the bridge to your death. All this because your finger slightly glanced/rested on a key. It’s horrible.Third due to point two you’ll be pressing/tapping other keys in a fight and all of a sudden the keyboard will press a random key because the slight vibration of tapping a button activates another one. Many a time in a boss fight all of a sudden i cannot taunt/sunder and the next thing i know the chat box has been activated and i’ve sent my mate a message saying ‘1111qwaw’ or something. All in all i would say stay clear. I find it unusable. It’s such a shame because the quality of the keyboard is great, it looks great, it’s just been let down by oversensitive keys.

Title: No backslash key, US layout
Review: The keyboard itself is nice, but it’s a US layout (@ at 2) and because it is configured to UK, the backslash key actually is a hash. This might be fine for other people, but as a financial developer, not having £, # and \ available without changing keyboard layout isn’t usable.

Review: Something about most other mechanical keyboards like steel series, razer, and Aukey et al makes me typo like crazy. I wanted a logitech since that’s what I always typed fine on, but they seem expensive or pushing faux mechanical membrane keyboards, so I gave this a shot.So far it’s been great. Something about the key height matches what my fingers want.RGB has some settings, I just took the default rainbow and slowed it down to match everything else.Macro buttons can be programmed WITHOUT any software, which is excellent. Love to see that I’m not pressured into another half baked software suite.Volume wheel is rubber and has some mild detents. Nothing crazy but it feels good and works well.Price was excellent when on sale. Even at regular price, it’s well worth it.Nitpicks:Wish there were multiple positions for the cable.I wish the ferrite bead was at the other end of the table, as it’s at the perfect length to snag the edge of the desk (luckily it’s just a USB A-C cable so it can be replaced if it continues to bug me)

Review: I am thrilled to update my review for the Redragon keyboard after receiving exceptional support from their team. Initially, I encountered some performance and connectivity issues that affected my overall satisfaction. However, thanks to the prompt assistance provided by Redragon, those problems have now been completely resolved. The keyboard’s frequent and random shutdowns were frustrating, requiring me to unplug and replug it several times. Additionally, the first keystroke often failed to register after periods of inactivity when using the 2.4GHz USB dongle. These issues significantly impacted my workflow and user experience. After reaching out to Redragon’s support team, they promptly guided me through the following steps, which proved to be highly effective:Performing a keyboard reset by pressing Fn+Esc for 5 seconds: This simple solution successfully eliminated minor glitches and restored the keyboard’s functionality.Adjusting power management settings in the Device Manager: By unchecking the “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power” option for the keyboard’s USB input devices, I ensured a stable connection even during periods of inactivity.Following these instructions, I am delighted to report that the Redragon keyboard now performs flawlessly. The previous connectivity issues have vanished, and I no longer experience any disruptions or delays while typing.I want to express my sincere appreciation for Redragon’s dedicated support. Their prompt and helpful assistance reaffirmed my confidence in the brand and their commitment to customer satisfaction. The exceptional support I received truly sets Redragon apart from other companies.Based on the successful resolution of the initial issues and the outstanding support provided, I wholeheartedly give the Redragon keyboard a 5-star rating. It now fully meets my expectations in terms of performance, reliability, and overall user experience.I highly recommend the Redragon keyboard to others, confident in the knowledge that should any issues arise, their reliable support team will be there to assist and ensure a satisfactory resolution.Thank you, Redragon, for delivering an enhanced and exceptional keyboard experience coupled with outstanding customer support.
