Review: The quality and kit is really good. I was very impressed with the accessories and the sturdiness of the cafetiere. However, the 2 cups statement id a bit of a push as it really depends of the mug size. The label makes it feel like it is for the whole family, but only if you drink espressos. In reality it is a mug and a half. Nevertheless it has a very good quality.

Title: Cute little cafetiere, easy to clean, but some of the black is starting to peel away
Review: This cute little cafetiere is perfect for my daily coffee since I’m the only person who drinks coffee in my house. Although it’s listed as “2 cups”, I find it is a perfect fit for my one big mug – and even leaves some room for a slug of oat milk on top.The only reason I deducted a star from my overall score is because it’s starting to lose some of it’s black paint. This won’t impact the product or make it stop working, it just looks a bit messy.One piece to note if you find the pour comes out too slowly is that it has a definite “spout” area on the plunger that you’ll want to line up with the spout of the jug. If you don’t line it up it’ll be slow to pour at best and, at worst, leak!For my next cafetiere I’d probably opt for an all metal one because of the issues with the paint but removable jug makes it easy to clean and the whole thing is dishwasher safe.

Review: Kam schnell, aber ohne Kaffeelöffel und den Pinsel, aber mit zwei Ersatzsieben.Die Glasdicke finde ich passend zur Größe. Der Begriff “zu dünn” aus anderen Rezessionen ist in meinen Augen falsch. Vielleicht ist das Gefühl bei den größeren Varianten auch berechtigt.Die kleine Variante, 350ml, macht Kaffee für einen Pott, 0,3l.Für mich genauso passend, da ich gerne nur eine oder zwei Tassen Kaffee am Tag trinke.Diese Aufbereitungsmethode verwende ich:1. Im ersten Schritt sollte das Wasser aufgekocht und auf etwa 92 bis 96 °C abgekühlt werden.2. Die Kaffeebohnen sollten am besten frisch gemahlen werden. In jedem Fall sollte das genutzte Kaffeepulver einen sehr groben Mahlgrad haben – etwa wie grobes Meersalz – sein, denn ein grober Mahlgrad garantiert eine langsame und gleichmäßige Extraktion.3. Anschließend gibt man etwa 60 g Kaffeepulver pro Liter Wasser in die Kanne und gießt es zunächst mit etwa 1/5 der Gesamtwassermenge auf.4. Nachdem das Pulver für etwa 30 Sekunden gequollen ist, wird es umgerührt und mit dem restlichen Wasser aufgefüllt.5. Nach weiteren vier Minuten Brühzeit schöpfen Profis den Schaum mitsamt dem oben schwimmenden Mahlgut mithilfe der beiden Löffel ab, um weniger Pulverpartikel – oder Prütt, wie man im Ruhrpott sagen würde – im Kaffee zu belassen.6. Erst dann wird der Stempel aufgesetzt und – nachdem er sich für ca. zehn Sekunden aufgewärmt und damit ausgedehnt hat – vorsichtig nach unten gedrückt. Befolgt man diese kleinen Tricks, ist ein erstklassiger Kaffeegenuss ohne lästige Kaffeesatzreste garantiert. Jetzt sollte der French Press Kaffee so schnell wie möglich getrunken bzw. in eine andere Kanne gegossen werden, da er sonst bitter wird
