Review: I had the Basic Brita filter before and didn’t like it because of the flimsy lever to switch between filtered/unfiltered water. The Brita filter also didn’t shut off the non-filtered side all the way so it would be dripping out of the un-filtered faucet when using the filtered water. I may have gotten a faulty unit but all these problems are non-existent with this PUR filter. The lever is big and smooth to operate, there is no leakage out of either unused faucet and installation was a breeze.

Review: I first bought a Brita faucet water filter system, but the design was bad, awkward, not good. It was difficult to put together and kept popping apart. So, I threw it in the trash and purchased this PUR faucet water filter system. The design is superior. Easy to install. Easy to use. Well constructed. And the filter lasts for 3 months. Included with the package was a coupon to save $2.00 on the purchase of replacement filters. Replacing the filter(s) is easy. I recommend this system to those looking for a reliable water filter device.
