Synthetic sash brushes – a decorator’s classic tool refined with modern technology

Sash brushes are ideal for detail work on sash windows, window frames, architraves and other mouldings or profiled surfaces. They don’t splay out, something flat brushes can do, which gives you absolute precision as to exactly where the paint goes. They’re also great for general cutting in, giving neat, sharp lines with no need to break them in before they’re up to the task.

Set in a rust-resistant, stainless steel ferrule, ProDec’s synthetic sash brushes are suited to water- and solvent/oil-based paints including emulsions (eg. matt, silk, eggshell), gloss and satin and feature high quality tapered synthetic filament, which is softer and smoother than traditional pure bristle. With excellent paint loading capacity and smooth release that regulates paint flow to the tip of the brush, they enable you to easily achieve a professional finish. The slimline wooden handle enables you to turn the brush during application, maximising the paint application and delivering longer strokes. It also features a hanging hole for storage, which is also a great way to dry the brush after washing and let gravity do the work, helping it maintain its shape ready for next use.

Ideal anywhere that precise paint application is required or access is tricky, including touching up paintwork, detail work around switches and sockets, tight or recessed corners, pipework and more. Gives sharp paint lines without the need for masking tape.

Dogleg brushes

Gives an extended reach of over twice that of a standard paint brush with the head set at 35 degrees, making it ideal for cutting in edges on high walls and ceilings or reaching awkward areas like behind radiators, gutters and pipes where hands struggle to get.

Striker brushes

A distinctive round head for high capacity paint holding, an angled head for optimum contact with the surface and a long handle that enables you to get to difficult to reach areas such as high walls and ceilings without having to resort to ladders or platforms, or awkward areas like behind radiators, gutters and pipes or staining fences behind shrubs and bushes.

Title: Good value lose a lot of bristles tho
Review: Good brushes for the money used 2 of the brushes and they keep losing bristles out of the stock .used on 3 different decorating jobs lost a lot of bristles with every use ended up picking them off the wall and straight from the brush

Review: I liked everything about the brush setThey were not expensive and although synthetic they were as good as or better than pure bristle brushes I have used in the past.No bristles came out, they glided along with ease with each stroke they gave good coverage. They were versatile when using different sizes for skirting boards and doors.A great set. Also washed easily. Now put away for the next time 😃
