Foam

Trade grade high density foam with small cells designed to avoid any air pockets, eliminating bubbles in the paint that could otherwise spoil the finish. The foam absorbs paint, releasing it gradually through each roll and giving even surface coverage for less working out and improved efficiency.

Mohair

High quality, solvent-resistant woven synthetic fabric that is more durable than foam. The pile is cut to 5mm, ensuring the optimum film thickness is applied, giving excellent coverage without the risk of the paint film skinning.

Short pile microfibre

The softest fabric of all, giving a very light touch and less roller texture in the paint film. Microfibre absorbs the paint inside the fibres, instead of it just sitting between them, meaning that it both loads more smoothly and releases the paint more evenly throughout the stroke, requiring less working out and increasing your painting efficiency. Ensure you select the 6mm short pile, not the 12mm medium pile version.

Flocked foam

Very short flock fibres which are electrostatically coated onto a high density foam body, giving a very short pile roller that leaves no texture in the paint film. Flock gives the ultimate mirror-smooth finish – ideal for high gloss paints.

More information on this product

Mini rollers are widely used by trade professionals in preference to brushes when painting flat areas with gloss and satin paints as they enable faster, more efficient coverage. They also have the added advantage of leaving no brush marks, which can sometimes be a problem with some water-based trim paints which are much faster drying than the traditional solvent/oil-based versions.

Foam is a good choice for applying water- and solvent/oil-based gloss and satin paints as well as undercoat and primer, giving a superb finish with no roller texture, and the high density grade these rollers are made from is more durable than low density DIY grades. Foam is also lint-free, enabling you to use it straight from the packaging without pre-washing and not having to worry about any fabric shedding as you paint that would slow you down. ProDec foam rollers are made using open-cell foam which absorbs paint into the foam, releasing it gradually through each roll and giving even surface coverage for less working out and improved efficiency. The cells in high density foam are smaller than low density grades and are designed to avoid any air pockets, eliminating bubbles in the paint that could otherwise spoil the finish.

The 20 rollers in this pack are 4” (100mm) width, which is ideal for skirting boards, window sills, panel doors, metalwork and more. They are compatible with all mini roller frames with a standard 6mm diameter bar.

Super value pack of 20 trade quality foam mini rollers for lint-free paint application
Durable high density foam gives a superb finish with water- and solvent/oil-based gloss and satin paints, as well as undercoat and primer
Applies paint quicker than a brush for fast, efficient coverage and no brush marks
