Title: Delighted with purchase
Review: I read the reviews before placing an order for this item and to be honest, I was a little nervous of ordering. However, I read reviews for similar products (some of them way more expensive) and found that they were all similar so I took the chance as there was a lot of positive comments.I am delighted that I ignored the negativity. The board is in perfect condition without chips or marks as reported in reviews. The board is sturdy and easy to use and clean and having applied the conditioning beeswax I feel confident that the board will stay true. I love it and will be ordering a second board so that when I do the conditioning, I can leave it for the appropriate time to allow the wax to be absorbed. I would recommend the product.

Title: Multiple uses
Review: Been hunting for a board for ages – this one is just perfect very good size fits my single work surface perfectly so good protection. Looks nice so permanently stays out. Does not mark when you have cut on it, and cleans so easy. I brought the cutting board oil and use this monthly to bring the board back looking new. Can use both sides, one with the ridge so catches and liquid. Also a perfect board to make homemade pasta on. Love it a well worth the money, got it on prime %sale, but I would have paid full price. It’s a bit on the heavy side, but this is good as it stays in place .

Title: Very nice very large very expensive
Review: This is a very large chopping/cheese board. It is huge in fact and can be used to protect your kitchen work tops or use it as a serving board for parties. The wood is very nice with a nice smooth finish. I can’t complain about the product but I just can’t justify that price!If money is of no object to you then this will be fine, but if you are on a budget you might need to look elsewhere.

Review: My hubby got this large maple cutting board for me for Christmas. I have been wanting one for a long time that is large enough to roll out dough and this is just perfect. I used it twice after receiving it for making Christmas cutout cookies. It is a great size for that purpose, it’s nice and flat and not warped and it was easy to clean up. It has notches on either end for finger grips and one side has a moat for catching juices when carving meat. I would have given this 5 stars, but after just two uses to roll out dough it cracked!! I’m so sad and have reached out to the vendor. Hopefully they will respond and make it right and I will be happy to amend this review once they do.EDITED – I’m happy to report that the vendor was very responsive and sent a replacement right away. I changed this to a 5 star review because this is an amazing cutting board, and due to the great customer service!

Review: UPDATE: The company contacted me after my review and generously sent me another board at no charge.I received a new cutting board and it is indeed a better color and not rough. It is beautiful and I am verygrateful for their generosity and fantastic Customer Service! For me this says everything about the Company’s Character!Received the cutting board today and very disappointed in the color. Instead of the rich smooth color in the photo , I received a light colored rough board. If I had not already washed it I would return it especially since I got a splinter while washing it!

Review: Ziruma contacted me regarding my below review and remedied the concerns I had. I greatly appreciate their excellent customer service. I recommend this company as their products are beautiful and they treat customers well.This is a beautiful cutting board – it is very striking in person, large, smooth and serves as a gorgeous presentation for large spreads.Upon initially receiving it I gave it 5 stars, it really exceeded my expectations. However 3 months in it started to warp and bend into a slight U shape. Now when we use it it rocks a bit, taking away from the presentation. Also, the bottom has become moldy. I am not sure how this occurred, as I dry it standing up.Overall it still has its utility, although the rocking the board does while cutting is a bit dangerous, and the bent shape has now taken away from its presentation, which is why I gave it 3 stars.
