Title: No signal picked up
Review: My work van picks up dozens of stations.Installed in my car, with this in the correct location and the magnetic ground on a bare metal surface ( yes you have to scrape your car paint off to use this) it pics up zero Channels at home and finds ‘maybe 15 stations on the m25 which have 1 bar signal strength and drop out where my work van picks up over 100 dab stations crystal clear. This unit does not work. I tried another dab antenna.. still nothing. But the Bluetooth receiver works well as does the fm transmitter. But that’s it.

Review: Really liked it’s look and function, when it works it’s really good, the window mount aerial supplied is too weak and gives unreliable reception, I used it with a mag mount aerial and that was much better, problem then becomes the FM transmitter to send the signal to your car radio, it was ok where we live in the midlands but we traveled to the south coast on the way down it picked up several other cars FM transmissions for music and telephones which took over, very annoying, then a local radio station took the frequency so had to retune it further up the FM band.So bin the aerial and only use the AUX output if your car has the option and you’ll love it.Returned mine and now using internet radio.

Review: I decided to buy a DAB adaptor when Gold changed to digital radio. As someone whose musical preferences are from the 60s/ 70s, this was a big blow. I chose Pop Your Car as there were more good reviews than bad and the price was mid-range. With the help of the hand book and a You-Tube video I found installation fairly easy. I didn’t follow the instructions religiously as they seemed to be aimed a left-hand drive vehicle. I therefore inverted the antenna on the windscreen to place the wiring next to the frame. I then removed the frame trim as I wanted to conceal the wiring better. I then placed the magnetic earth pad on the metal frame, replaced the trim and completed installation by the book. I found that the radio unit fitted snugly next to the charger socket where there is a coin tray on my Corsa. Hey Presto we have all our old favourites on the radio again.
