Title: Perfect for the purpose
Review: Great kit. Apple TV 5th gen slides into it perfectly and holds on tight. It comes with a remote cover/protector. I wasn’t expecting much of it and bought this kit only for the device mounting but the remote cover is actually pretty good. Decent quality rubber, which doesn’t smell 🙂 (edit: I’ve been now using it for years and the rubber remains unchanged – it doest peel or starts to otherwise disintegrate) and in fact provides much better grip of your remote, which otherwise feels fairly small and slippery due to back shell made of metal. I really like it. The manual attached is hilarious to say the least – it’ll make you laugh, but who needs manual for something as simple as this. Overall perfect for the price!

Title: Great idea, but get more Velcro to stick it properly!
Review: The item itself is great and I like the remote cover as I’ve dropped one of the remotes before and broke it.One issue though – the included Velcro is NOT enough to keep it stuck safely to the hack of a tv. It fell off within a few hours but luckily didn’t break the Apple TV unit.I had to buy some heavy duty thick Velcro and apply lots more to keep it secure

Review: The item was easy to install, just remember to measure twice and drill once!My apple TV fits very snug and is held really well. It’s easy enough to take out, as well. Just make sure it has enough clearance for wires etc. at the top (mine JUST about does).Good product, designed well.

Title: Remote cover is great box case not so great.
Review: I was really sceptical due to the price but when It arrived and fitted the case on the remote I was shocked at how well it fitted and the weight of it. It allows you to hold it comfortably and it rests perfectly on the sofa arm. The box case is not the best fit for some reason and I was worried it would break and the Velcro is useless cause when the tv heats up it peels off. Only way to mount is via the provided screws.

Title: Adhesion is useless – Apple TV fell off the wall.
Review: Like most other people, I got this to mount an Apple TV on the wall behind the TV. The TV fits in the cradle perfectly, no problem there. I didn’t use the rubber remote cover as we use a different remote for the Apple TV than the default one. So far, so good. Then while we were having dinner the ATV dropped off the wall, and hit the tiled floor. Luckily it didn’t break, but could have done.The side which gave way was, curiously, not the one between the adhesive patch and the wall, but the one between the adhesive patch and the cradle. Somehow it didn’t stick to the plastic properly.So, I’d recommend you buy another brand, or make sure that when you use this, you stick some super glue on the cradle itself before you put the self-adhesive patch on.Wouldn’t recommend.
