Title: What a tiny solid little thermal printer
Review: I did enjoy unboxing this product very much and I found it exciting but sad at the same time!It is quite a small printer but I feel has a bit of unexpected weight to it. I am more use to those larger A4 style ones.I found this printer easy to set up and everything seems automatic. Not a lot of thinking needs to be done by you to start printing. It is a thermal style printing so black and white and the paper is not A4 size but we use this to print off postal labels using the 4×6 size sticky paper.The printer auto detects the paper as it initially feeds it to read and the backs it out again. You need to app to allow connectivity and print management and that’s pretty much it. Wifi or Bluetooth are available which makes this printer flexible to connect to.The app is simplistic but works for what I need and whilst you can print off pictures, these would be black and white. I did this for my daughter at first until the novelty black and white wore off. I have used both the Android and the Ios app and they both work just as well.For the pdf’s which is what I mainly use this for. The ability to create a print window and resize is a useful feature and makes the printing process easier.This printer is fast, takes no time to print the 4×6. Probably takes longer to sort out the image than printing it.The only query about this printer is the cost and I cannot work out what features it has that could make it cost the amount it does. I dont think it is just the WiFi support as this seems quite expensive if this is the only reason.It is one of my favourite tech gadgets at the moment but I have rated this four stars due to the cost only. It is brilliant in all printing aspects that I have used it for just it does seem expensive.

Review: I use this printer for all of my shipping labels as it’s just perfect for that. It can print a lot of other things but a s with all thermal printers, it can only print black so that does limit its usage. It’s a small, compact and neat looking printer that is smaller than my previous one. The fact that this connect’s via Wi-Fi is a real bonus as it’s one less cable I need plugged in to the back of my computer plus I can place the printer anywhere I need.The print quality is excellent and the print speed is very fast.If this pinter priced a little less then I would have given it 5 stars but I can’t quite see why the Wi-Fi function makes this printer cost so much more than other models made by this manufacturer. Maybe I am missing something about this printer functionality but as far as I can tell, it’s the Wi-Fi feature that makes this printer more expensive.With that said, it’s a really good printer in terms of functionality, speed, print quality and design/looks.I am very happy with it.

Review: I am not even sure where to start all of this one. This printer is amazing. I am giving this review based on the initial setup and printing a few labels.The reason this review is limited is because the printer came with 9 labels. So there was not a lot of playing around I wanted to conserve my labels especially since I accidentally printed one and messed up another. smhThe unit was smaller than I thought, I should have paid close attention to the dimensions and details This is not a bad thing at all but I thought it was going to be larger so I cleared a whole space for it. The printer comes with everything you need to get started including the Quick Start Guide and Safety Guide, I barely read either just enough to figure out how to get started. The quick start guide is in English and German I believe (Deutsch). It is very initiative though so the instructions are not a must but I wanted to test this printer before actually using it and it would not print as I was using regular paper. (I know, I rolled my eyes at myself too.)Printing was crisp and clean and the letters were easy to read. QR codes and bar codes were easy to view and scan. The app which I think is a must-have has so many features that will allow you to customize your labels. You are also able to save labels that you create using the app for future reference. I am excited about creating different labels and I have found several sizes and shapes of labels that I want to try.Once I have had a chance to play around with it more I will come back and update my review with more details. However, if you are like me and ship lots of packages, and create repetitive or even unique labels then I think you have come to the right place.I wish that more labels came with this or that there was an indication that would only get 10, I think it was supposed to be 10 but one label had printing already on it. I am rating this a 9.5 only because I would have liked more labels or an indication that I needed more.The printer also has a power adaptor and cord, a USB C to USB A cord and a converter for USB C to USB A.

Review: Printer was fairly easy to set up, with USB for my initial setup (which included downloading drivers and the Printer Setting Tool) and then worked with WiFi once that was set up. The printer setting tool has dialog boxes for: Communication Settings; Device Settings; and “Fireware” Update, but only Communication Settings was functional, with the other two grayed out (see screenshot).I installed their Labelife software and it was very easy to use and quite intuitive. It comes with a ton of clip art with a lot of Main Subjects (at least that’s what I’m calling it for this review) and then Categories within each subject. In my screenshot, it shows the Main Subject of “Festive Events” and then I picked the Category of Halloween. The Main Subjects list is annoying to browse, as you have to use the little arrows to scroll side to side, which it does fairly slowly. The Category dropdown for each Main Subject in much faster and easier to navigate. But overall, it’s a pretty decent software.Moving on to the printer, it’s easy to load and prints super quickly. Thin and curved lines show up clearly with clean edges. It works great on 4×6 shipping labels. But I soon discovered a problem, which is why I’m knocking a star off. For the first label, it centers up nicely, however each additional label is shifted from down from the first label. I provided a few examples with notes pointing out the first and subsequent labels. For the 4×6, the second label and all thereafter were shifted about 2mm lower than the first (see gap size difference at the top of the 4×6 label photo). For shipping labels, this isn’t a huge issue, as exact centering doesn’t really matter. For the 2″ circular labels, the shift was even less, closer to 1-1.5mm offset after the first label, but you can see that it ruins the ability to have a nicely centered image and makes design work look sloppy.All of these were centered in the design software and looked good on the first label, only to be pushed down for all that followed. This tells me that the printer is not correctly centering where it prints relative to where you place the text/image. I saw these shift in both the Labelife software and printing directly to the printer (from Adobe Acrobat for the shipping label), so common culprit is the printer itself.So for general label printing, not too bad. But if you do any design work that you want printed accurately within the label space, then this isn’t the right printer for the job. While fast and good resolution, it doesn’t print centered as it should. Considering just how expensive this is, I would have expected better.
