Customers say
Customers like the performance, boil time, noise and weight of the small home appliances. For example, they mention that it works well, boils very quick and that it’s much quieter than the old kettle. They appreciate the appearance, saying that it looks nice and is stylish. That said, some complain about the taste and switch.

Title: Lightweight and quiet
Review: We wanted to replace an old kettle that was very noisy in an open plan kitchen. Bought this because of previous experience of Philips, the ‘eco’ composition, as well as style and colour. This kettle looks good and well made. It is much lighter than most kettles. It boils fast and much quieter than the old kettle. It will boil small amounts (one or two cups). It has an overheating auto cut off, but this routinely activates if you boil a small amount of water and then drain the boiling water to empty. For this reason we no boil an extra cup of water than needed. This is not a big problem, and at least shows that the auto cut off works well. The design is a light off-white fleck colour, which we like, and fits well with a light off white granite top. The base, cable and plug are white, a nice touch, and far better than the black cable and plug found on kettles of any colour. So far so good. If there are any problems I will update this review.

Title: Brilliant Kettle!
Review: I’ve been using a cheap toaster for years and finally wanted to treat myself, and I’m very happy with the quality of this kettle! Firstly it boils very quick and makes very little noise in comparison to my old one, which was that loud you had to raise your voice to have a conversation haha. This kettle holds the temps well for multiple hours, the lid is a great design as I find with most kettled the lid can be a worry taking off incase condensation flicks out but this one this A lot more seamless, I bought this for 33.99, and for that price it’s great value

Title: Great kettle
Review: I love the way it blends with my kitchen, the material it’s made from and the overall quality of the product. I also like the gauge which means it’s easy to boil just the right amount of water.

Title: I Can Recommend This
Review: I had set a budget of £30 – £50 for a new kettle knowing there were many in this range to choose from. Previously I have chosen based on features that include temperature control and 3kw boil. On this occasion none of these were important to me so it simply came down to aesthetics and reading customer reviews.Inside the box is the kettle, base and instructions. The kettle is light to hold and comes in a cream like colour with a fleck like pattern which is nice. The lid is fully removable rather than most where a button or lever is pressed and it flips up. This gives more room to allow water to enter the kettle. There is a wood like effect plastic top to the lid. The water level indicator is at the back behind the handle and provides the volume and cup amount for information. The handle has a metallic effect to it. The lead from the base to the plug is a decent length.I usually boil the kettle a few times prior to drinking from it and so again followed this process here. I filled around 2 cups worth and pressed the “on” lever which lights up blue. The kettle is slightly more quiet when boiling compared to some I have owned previously. I didn’t time the length of boil but this a 2.2kw kettle and I was happy with the time it took.Since using the kettle I have not encountered any of the issues raised by other customers that include a plastic taste or the “on” button not working as it should. One minor criticism is that when I do pour the water and tilt the kettle back there is a small drip of water that falls from the outside of the spout. If you are looking for a budget kettle made by a reputable brand then I can recommend this.

Title: A handsome kettle
Review: Really pleased with my kettle. Looks lovely and really like that the lid comes completely off. I had realised how awkward it can be having a hinged lid until i got this kettle.

Title: It keeps turning itself off
Review: Do not buy this kettle. I read the reviews where others said it turned itself off and I ignored them. Big mistake. Its so frustrating, its constantly flipping the switch off mid boil. Sometimes immediately, other times half way through. Not worth it.
