Title: Philips quality – at a bargain price! 👍
Review: I think these are excellent TV headphones. They provide super sound quality, and I like that they have a generous 6 metres of cable on them – saving you the inconvenience and expense of buying an additional cable. The cups are large enough to cover your ears, and so help to to make the most of the audio reaching your ears, whilst blocking out any unwanted peripheral sounds. I wasn’t particularly bothered about having an inline volume control, but the cable is fitted with one, and I have no complaints about its function – it works absolutely fine. The 3.5mm audio jack on the end of the cable will fit into most TV, Laptop, radio, mobile phone, or iPod sockets, but a 3.5mm to 6.5mm adaptor is included in the package should you need it.I actually got these Philips headphones to replace a pair of far more expensive Sennheiser ones, whose pads were shot after many years of usage – unfortunately, spares were no longer available. I daily use headphones connected up to my TV – mainly so as not to disturb my wife, who tends to go to bed early. The other reason though is that the sound quality is far superior to that which comes out of the TV’s inbuilt speakers. This means that on action movies etc you get a truly immersive experience – if you turn the lights off, it’s almost as good as being in the cinema! It goes without saying that these headphones are a godsend when it comes to watching music performances. Its also worth mentioning that those who have hearing difficulties, or those that sometimes find the dialogue on TV dramas/movies muffled, will benefit from the sharper, clearer sound quality that they’ll hear when wearing these. Really folks, if you want to invest in a set of decent headphones that you primarily wish to use for TV viewing, then you can’t go wrong with buying yourself a pair of these Philips ones – I’m more than pleased with mine. Title: Good for watching TV
Review: My grandmother was getting to the state where she was finding it hard to hear the TV and read subtitles.These headphones fit perfectly over the head and allowed her to listen clearly to the TV.The cable is really long on these so you can sit a fair distance away in comfort. It also has a volume control wheel at the headphone end.These cover the ears so reduce external noise but are not noise cancelling.Just good old fashioned over ear headphones.Good quality like you would expect from Philips. I would buy these again!

Title: Fantastic wired headphones for TV
Review: Had these headphones for many years, but i broke them (I had bought them from Currys). I thought they were not available any longer, but to my surprise I searched on Amazon and saw them for a very reasonable price. I use them my Sony smart TV so as not to disturb my family at night, one time I tried them with YouTube, playing some music and the sound was a revelation to me, excellent sound quality for the price. They are very comfortable too, with a 6m cable with inline volume control. There is no sound cancellation therefore I have not rated in this section. I would highly recommend these for the price.

Title: Sound really-good for their low-price, but only lasted me around 10 months
Review: I purchased the Philips SHP2500/10 headphones in mid-January of 2022, and by November of that year, one of the earpieces no-longer made any sound, due to a break somewhere inside the cable, near where the connector is. I really don’t understand why all large (“DJ style”) headphones by-now cannot come with a removable cable, as it’s inevitably going to be the part most-likely to fail! I got my money back in-full from Amazon, at-least, after doing a warranty-return. Until they broke, they did sound surprisingly good for the price (though the Superlux HD681 I purchased as a replacement sound even-better, and only sell for around £10 more on-average).

Title: Fantastic sound!
Review: Absolutely pleased with these headphones. As described, well packaged, and super fast delivery.These headphones have an extremely long durable lead, with a built in volume control (Most TVs have a separate headphone sound control in the settings, useful if the default is too low) And comes with two different types of connectors.The headphones are of a great quality, fit the ear extremely well, adjustable, and are very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.The sound quality is very high, for me the quality is better than the in-built TV speakers. The connection fits securely. Due to external noise, these allow me to watch the TV at any hour without having to turn up the volume on the TV just to be able to hear, they do a very good job at limiting outside interference, and without having to worry about battery life.Overall extremely impressed, very grateful these are produced, and highly recommend.

Title: NOT VERY CLEAR ON SOUND
Review: No disrespect to this product but i purchased second hand to check the quality as I have also ordered a newer model for my son which will arrive later this week. That one will be returned as soon as it arrives because of the poor volume given through the headset. The lead length is too much but I don’t mind that. what makes this unit low on quality is the lack of equalized sound. There is hardly any treble to deliver beauty to the music and with too much base overpowering the sound it sounds like i’m listening to the music underwater. I havs another headset that was cheaper to purchase than this and it is superb. sadly that one does not seem to be for sale anymore. In truth I ordered this for the price hoping it would be as good as my sony.

Review: For the price, they are very good, but I don’t like the way the wires enter the ear pieces without a rubber/plastic support. On a previous pair I caught the long cable on my foot the pull was sufficient to detach the connction internally. But then, I was very clumsy.
