Title: Amazing quality and hands down a cheaper alternative to Corsair and Razer, Even survived a coffee spill!
Review: I didn’t want to review this straight away as I wanted to get comfortable with it and know as much as I could about it first.This keyboard has trumped my friends who all use Razer and Corsair mechanical keyboards. They were surprised at how well built it was and how responsive the keys were in comparison to the Cherry keys that they are used to.The presentation of the packaging is great and definitely a presentation upon opening, certainly makes you want to record an unboxing video from how pleasing it is to open.You do not require the software to change the LEDs or create macros, but if you want to make full use of the keyboards features then the software is ideal.Something that isn’t straight forward is custom LED colors for the keys. You can change the on board color palette by using the Viper software and double clicking the color palette, this will bring up a spectrum that allows you to assign the desired color to the palette. When you have set your desired color or palette you press the Fn key + F12 on your keyboard then choose 1 to 5 on the F keys that should be flashing, every LED should have now turned off allowing you to tap each key to set the desired color. The process can be tedious but it really does look great and the keys are very bright, not to mention the whitest white LED color I’ve seen on an RGB keyboard.I have accidentally spilled coffee on my Viper and after leaving it to dry out and unsticking the keys it worked perfectly, although I could really do with doing some maintenance and re-greasing the keys.When you get the hang of the keyboard then it can really feel like it’s a premium model and certainly a cheap alternative to Corsair or Razer.I wouldn’t mind an option for a larger wrist rest as my hands are pretty big and arc straight past the wrist rest, which is a shame.

Title: I love this keyboard.
Review: I ordered this and then realised that it was a US keyboard layout, so I had resigned myself to sending it back.I’m not sending it back.The design is exceptional, key action nice and springy with not too much noise, construction and aesthetics are first class. Don’t forget to download the available software which allows you to customise the LED effects.You might be able to remap keys to give the £ symbol but I just installed US QWERTY keyboard layout alongside UK QWERTY and switch between the two as needed.A quality keyboard.

Review: Such a great keyboard for the price. Patriot really done well, its such a clean keyboard, the switch is a little sensitive to what i’m used to but I haven’t ever had a mech keyboard. Great RGB effects, stainless steel & has a magnetic detachable palm rest.

Title: Know It All!
Review: This is an excellent mechanical keyboard. In fact I’m using it right now to type this review since I got it 5 or so months ago it has been my daily driver for a plethora of reasons. One or two issues here and there of course. It’s large…not the largest but takes plenty of room. The profiles that you set up rather that being edited when you go back to make changes later are wiped and and replaced by what you set-up anew (unless you do it in their software rather than on the keyboard). love the soft-touch rubber on the wrist rest, it’s very comfortable even for long sessions.

Title: Not just a headset stand.
Review: A fantastic headset stand. I use this for my HyperX wireless headset, for which it does a great job. I also use the extra usb 3.1 slots for my keyboatd and mouse with no problems. Setup is simple, just plug into a spare usb 3 slot on your computer and your good to go.

Review: The Patriot Viper V770 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is a very nice keyboard for someone like me who is not a gamer. I type a lot on my computer, and there are a few things I need to repeatedly type over and over again. So, I need the ability to set up some macros for those repeated combinations. My previous keyboard, an old Logitech G15, served me quite well until I upgraded to Windows 11. Then, that G15 keyboard was no longer reliable. It would randomly repeat keystrokes, and also randomly leave out keystrokes. And this was happening at least once a minute while typing. Maddening! Made the G15 unusable with my Windows 11 system. After much research, I decided to take a chance on the Patriot Viper V770, even though it was a bit more money than I wanted to spend on a keyboard. I chose the V770 because it had good reviews and the ability to do macros. I’m still getting used to it, but I’ve had it long enough now to know that it’s what I was looking for. I’m an old dog, and learning the macro setup was not super easy for me. But I was able to muddle through it. It works great. For the gamers out there, I can only tell you that the keyboard is solid, and the lights are really cool! I would guess that if I was a gamer, I would really enjoy this keyboard’s advanced capabilities. But for the non-gamers, this is a really good keyboard that will enable you to do repeated keystrokes combinations as well as use it for everyday non-exciting computer work. Recommended!

Il livello di rumorosità è fin troppo elevato con un rumore metallico di fondo dovuto ad ogni volta che viene premuto un tasto.Il colore del logo e della scritta sono di un colore molto più scuro e meno visibile rispetto a quello presente nella pagina di acquisto.Parlando invece di design, non malissimo il tentativo di emulazione, ma la custodia (a mio parere) poteva essere fatta meglio.Sconsigliatissimo per chi punta ad avere qualcosa di più o comunque una buona qualità dei componenti.
