Review: Terrible quality! Two months of use. Description says more use: This pan naturally develops a non-stick patina over time. Tried to fry a fish, lots of oil – didn’t help. Hard to remove residue. Had to use a steel tool. Very expensive for that poor quality.Don’t buy this product.

Review: This oxo carbon steel pan has been incredible. It is light but very well made with great heat distribution, no warping, excellent handle, holds seasoning well and is incredibly non stick. This pan is super easy to clean never needing soap. I simply swirl my chainmail kitchen rag over it to remove any food and dry it off. It passed the egg test perfectly and it has become one of my favorite kitchen pans. This pan is amazing! Well done OXO !

Review: After cooking my first steak with this frying pan on the induction stove top, the steak we not cooking evenly. Also, part of the steak got stuck on. I could not remove it. You can see the discoloration on the reverse side of the pan of where the food got stuck. I did not put the stovetop any higher than level 8. The rest of the pans discoloration is normal as it is explained that this is supposed to that way when you use it. I returned the Obsidian Pre-Seasoned Carbon Steel, 12″ Frying Pan and purchased the OXO Professional Hard Anodized PFAS-Free Nonstick. Maybe this works better on a traditional stove top.
