Title: Not bad, but the tommy bar bent just a little bit (about 5-10 degrees) when I first used it.
Review: Not too bad, but the tommy bar is a little weak and bent just a little bit (about 5-10 degrees) when I first used it. Admittedly, I was trying to take a brass olive, off a brass pipe (part of a radiator tail with a built-in drain valve), but it still did it’s job.The main body maybe quite a small, compact thing, but it’s nice and solid. I also appreciate that it’s got the 22mm adapter with it too. I don’t know when I’m going to need that one, but it’d be guaranteed that if I bought a cheaper version without the adapter, I’d need it tomorrow lol.It would be great if the tommy bar were about another inch longer, just for some extra leverage at times, but it’ll be easy enough to find a metal rod the right size (about 5-6mm at a guess) that’s a bit longer, to keep alongside it for when needed.Overall though, a good product at a good price. Glad I found it.

Review: I attempted to use this item for the first time on a job site, I was confident with my purchase until I used it for the first time and that’s when the problem arose, after attaching the nut to the olive puller and twisting it didn’t move the olive but instead flared the pipe end to the point I could not use the pipe anymore and it still had the olive on

Review: The threaded brass rod doesn’t fit inside a 15mm copper pipe unless your force it in which flares the end of the pipe so you can’t pull the olive..

Review: I got this to remove the nut thing on the pipe to fit a new radiator. It was useless. I have kept it because it was cheap and I could be bothered with returns.

Title: Not fit for purpose
Review: The tool is useless and not fit for purpose. The 1/2″ male thread does not overlap the internal pipe stay enough which results in a really poor coupling of the 1/2″ nut left on the pipe. On the occasion when the olive was high enough on the pipe for it to couple. The conical internal pipe ‘stay’ just winds itself into the copper pipe and effectively flares it! Exactly what you don’t want! This makes removing the olive effectively impossible and on the 4 valves I attempted, in the end, I had to revert to my Dremel cutting disk. If you want to remove olives on 15mm pipe. Avoid this product!
