Title: Excellent dashcam
Review: Only had this a few weeks so bear that in mind. Once out of the box it is IMPERATIVE that you charge the dashcam for a couple of hours so that it can retain the internal date/time. Then you connect the bits together which, even without instructions would be fairly obvious, and then position it in your car. This has a sticky pad, rather than a suction pad (which I absolutely don’t like), and so it’s very easy to stick it in the position you want. Mine uses the USB connection in my car and it’s working great. It feels real quality in the hand and I’m hopeful it will prove to be a long-lasting quality purchase. The instructions that come with it aren’t the best but like I say, it’s so simple to set up. It’s very small in size but that’s a good thing – you don’t want it dominating your windscreen. I haven’t viewed any recordings yet so can’t comment on those. I’m very happy that, several weeks in, it shows the correct date & time when I start the car. My previous dashcam (from China) stopped doing this after only a few days.

Title: Superior build quality
Review: Having recently purchased 2 dash cams, one a budget item, the other a fairly basic Nextbase dashcam, I was very surprised to see a marked difference in the build quality of both items. The cheap model was clunky and angular whereas the Nextbase was slightly smaller with smooth corners and a better design. The quality of the plastic also felt better. Setup was a breeze despite the lack of detailed instructions. There is a website but it’s useless but fortunately the supplied QuickStart leaflet is all you need to get up and running. Remember to charge for at least 2 hours before installing in the car and use a class 10 microSd card from a recognised manufacturer. Attachment to the car windscreen is via a double sided pad which is a lot better than the old suction cup style fitting. They always fell off after a few weeks which meant cleaning the windscreen and re installing. If you need to remove the mount from the windscreen it’s only a minute or two with a hairdryer. You also get a second sticky pad if you change cars. Extra pads are available everywhere. When my cheap dash am fails, and it will, I’ll replace it with a Nextbase. It’s worth the extra money for build quality and ease of use.

Review: This is a simple Dash Cam with very good quality video. It doesn’t have GPS and some of the more sophisticated functions but it is easy to use, simple to fit and does the job for a very competitive price.Only problem is that the magnetic coupling system is very strong and makes it tricky to remove from the mounting system. If you are going to remove the camera every time you use it then you may want to look elsewhere. RecommendedProsVery simple to use. Easy menu system and buttons for all the main functions. Just start the car and it automatically starts and then stops (default setting) when the car ignition is turned off.Good quality video for day and night driving with good wide angle view.Easy to fit. I am not very practical but I fitted the camera within five minutes.Very stable and reliable mounting system with very little camera shake.Has a parking mode allowing the camera to be left on when the car is unattended.Has a quick save button, so that vital video is not lost during an incident.USB lead supplied to connect to PC.Good quality piece of kit for the price.ConsDifficult to detach from the mount so if you need to remove every time you use it then look elsewhere.No GPS so position and speed not recorded.

Review: This is a fantastic camera, especially for the price. I purchased the 122 model and my Dad purchased the 222 as it has a slightly bigger display screen and a wider viewing angle. As soon as I saw the footage from the 222, I upgraded. The video quality is superb, even at night on an unlit road where it’s just your headlights illuminating the road ahead.I would definitely recommend this as peace of mind because if you are unfortunate enough to be involved in any type of incident, this will show what’s gone on in crystal clarity. I purchased the bundle of camera, hard wire kit and memory card and I am so so happy with it. The functions are easy to use, allowing you to playback any video it’s recorded with easy. The settings are also very simple to get to grips with in no time at all. This is a 100% recommended purchase and some insurance companies even offer a discount for having a Nextbase camera installed.

Review: Eine kleine Kamera die macht was sie soll.Sie ist klein und verschwindet komplett hinter den Rückspiegel.Da ich keinen Wert auf Schnickschnack lege, ist die Kamera genau das was ich gesucht habe.Die Videos sind sehr gut, und mehr muss die Kamera auch nicht können.Sie soll nach einem Unfall das Video zur Beweissicherung sichern,mehr nicht.Mit dem Obd Kabelset war die Montage mit Kabel verstecken in 15 Minuten erledigt.Klare Kaufempfehlung
