Review: The Nexigo N9440P webcam is a great option for those in the market for a high-resolution webcam at an affordable price. I have been using the webcam for about 2 weeks mainly with a desktop computer running Windows 10 and a higher end gpu. I also tested this on a Dell 12in XPS running Windows 11.The installation process was straightforward and the inclusion of a tripod screw made it easy to mount the webcam on a tripod or Gorillapod. The USB cord provided was long enough to accommodate placing the webcam on a 32-inch monitor and it could easily be plugged into a machine on the floor.The software for the webcam was easy to find through a quick web search and was simple to install on both Windows 10 and 11. The user interface is clear and straightforward, and the ability to save presets was a nice added feature. The webcam performed well with the popular video conferencing platforms such as Google Meet, Teams, and Zoom, with the only issue being a slight cropping in Zoom that could be adjusted with the Nexigo software.The webcam supports resolutions up to 2K but I found that 1920×1080 at 60fps worked the smoothest. While the resolution goes up to 2560×1440, you only get 60fps at 1920×1090. The picture quality was pretty grainy, especially in the shadows, on both my desktop and laptop, but was still much better than the built-in camera on my Dell laptop.The mic on the Nexigo N9440P was clear and there was no background noise. However, it did sound tinny compared to a dedicated mic like the Yeti Blue, but again for the money it works totally fine. The auto-focus worked great and was able to quickly change focus when placing a printed image close to the lens. Some people may not like the security patch that you have to stick on, but I appreciated the option of not having it and it looked fine once it was on. I did have to re-do it as I had the sliding piece cover the in-use indicator light when it was open.In conclusion, the Nexigo N9440P webcam is a great option for those looking for an affordable webcam with higher resolutions. The installation process is easy, the software is simple to use, and it performs well with popular video conferencing platforms. The picture quality is not the best but still better than my laptop in-built camera and the mic is clear. The auto-focus is great, the security patch is a nice added feature. Overall, I would recommend this webcam as a good value for the price.

Review: This is a great webcam, the only down side is the privacy shutter which is a stick on shutter. When this put on thr camera and is open it obsequious one of the webcam sensors. This wasn’t a problem for me, I just don’t fit it.

Review: Very pleased and does all that I need it for. Mine does not have a captive lead as implied in some reviews. So you can use a USB C to USB C cable if you need to. There is a 3.5mm jack for use with an external microphone. This presumably switches off the internal microphones and allows the use of a high-quality microphone which is better for streaming sessions, using musical instruments. Beware if using a tripod that the weight and stiffness of braided connection cables can cause the camera to move. The mounting hinge could be tighter (it’s not adjustable).

Review: As a student I am required to utilize a webcam frequently, I also work from home and zoom has become. a frequently used app in my workday. Finally, I enjoy video chatting with friends who have moved to other countries so I find myself using a camera a lot. This camera delivers on all counts and produces clear video that transfers well to the recipient and very easy to use.I am working on several platforms and devices including an iMac, MacBook Air, and a pc laptop. This camera had no issues with any platform. The added remote control was also a useful tool for those meetings where I was presenting away from my desk and I was able to zoom in to the focal point of my presentation rather than run back to my desk. The zoom quality is ok and is probably more dependent upon room lighting. One complaint is the privacy shutter that is included which you must attach or remember to use instead of the shutter being a part of the camera figure like their recent camera with ring light , another great item. Why cant they make this included as well? If you are needing more lighting in your web meetings then go withtheir ring cam, another quality item, This one is equal in quality with the remote and zoom feature great selling points. As promoted, it did work well with zoom, I had some minor connection issues with other web based video platforms, but was easily remedied. The Nexigo web cam software allows for camera modification and there are other apps as well available for Mac users. There are cheaper cameras out there, for these specs, but you are not getting the support, quality or ease of service that comes with this brand.
