Title: Good for partially sighted
Review: I bought these for my aunt who is partially sighted and was struggling to read her scales. Brilliant that these say the weight aloud, only thing is, they don’t use stones and pounds, for example they say 142lbs instead of 10 stone 2lbs. That’s the only improvement I can identify, otherwise very useful.

Title: Description and box show 440lb max weight, scales only shows 400lb
Review: Great looking scales, works really well and quite sturdy.I would give it 5* but my issue has been around the weight capacity, I’m currently over 400lb shocking I know! Which is why I went for these scales as the capacity is 440lb. However despite the description and the box showing this as the capacity the scales themselves show the capacity of 400lb so when I use them I get the error message.Now I know what you are thinking he must be over 440lb which I have checked on another set which I don’t own and I’m around 412lb mark so these scales should work fine for me. Given time it won’t be an issue as I’ll be far below the capacity with my new excercise plan I just wanted something beforehand to give me weekly weigh-ins so I know how I’m doing, plus I like the talking feature!I’ve contacted to see whether I’ve just got the wrong scales in the right box.

Title: Dead after less than 2 weeks use!
Review: Needed a talking scales as my head is to far from my feet to see my weight. 🙂 It was fine for a few days then the weighing became a bit random standing on it multiple times giving variation of as much as 6lb! At one point it declared I weighed 7.8 lb just before it died completely. Change to new batteries thinking this was the problem but no that’s it totally dead! Not impressed I have to say. 🤷‍♀️

Review: I bought this to replace an old mechanical one. Because with my new bifocals I could not see it. I was pleasantly surprised, the voice on it was nice, although I turned it off because I need to weigh my self all hours and I have a roommate. Unlike some other digital scales it seems to be quite accurate. I tried it three times in a row and got exactly the same. the large red display is readable even without my glasses. And finally it does not use any specialty batteries, either AAs or AAAs I don’t remember. Might even be able to use rechargeable batteries?

Review: I purchased this scale for my brother who is legally blind. He needed a scale that would tell him his weight because there is no way that he would be able to see any size of numbers displayed. This was perfect! You just step on the scale and it tells you your weight. You don’t have to turn it on by finding a button with your hands or feet. He goes to dialysis as well and the scale was on point with what he was weighing at the center. The color was also perfect for him since he has dark laminate flooring and this scale is easy for him to find.
