Review: Unlike other reviews, doesn’t shed disks, doesn’t lose power unless pressing too hard, which you shouldn’t anyway.I’ve used it 6 hours a day for a few days. Just keep it clean including brushing out disk pad in between disks and it’s been fine.

Title: Hook and Loop base does’nt last long.
Review: Bought this 6 months ago and was pleased with the price, power and variable speeds.I’ve used it 5 times for sanding door frames and 1 window frame. Started using it again yesterday and within minutes the sanding disc spun off. So I tried a new disc. Same result. The hook and loop system no long grips the discs. A replacement base to fit this is around £11. Which is too expensive to replace after every 4 or 5 uses.The sander is now useless.Maybe the seller will send me a replacement base?
