Title: Quiet but Powerful!
Review: I have no idea how, but I managed to fit this card into my PC. I probably should have got a new case, but when in doubt, you’ll make it fit and my goodness did it pay off! It’s powerful and quiet and runs games so smoothly. Editing video has now become even more dreamy as its made my work load incredibly fast. The RBG lights are also gorgeous! Still on my way to making my dream gaming PC, but so far this card is nothing but a delight. Highly recommend. But remember, it is huge! there was only just enough room for my 4K60 in the PCI slot below it. Had to had a rubber seal between them so the screws didn’t hit the fan! But otherwise. It’s amazing!

Title: Works great, expensive but powerful
Review: Works great, the cheapest 4080 super I could find at the time of buying (still very expensive). It’s huge and heavy card, but it comes with a support plate that prevents sagging. Been using it for few months now, hopefully for the money this generation of GPUs goes, will last me for years.

Title: A beast of a card!
Review: Picked this one up, because I thought it looked the best aside from Founder’s Edition, which I couldn’t get my hands on in Ireland. I’m not going to bore you with benchmark results, you probably already seen how it performs in comparison to 4090 at €1000 less. Paired with 7800x3d it just shreds through anything I throw at it. Temps stay under 70°C at full load. There is no coil whine on my unit, in fact, I can barely hear it. It is a chonker, so make sure your case can fit it and that you have some antisag protection installed, card is around 2kg (card came with one, I just switched it out for little black stands which fit my minimalistic aesthetic more, not too big on too much RGB lighting). Other than that I’m very satisfied with the build quality and my choice. Easy recommend!

Title: MSI GEFORCE RTX 4080 SUPER GAMING X TRIO
Review: I bought this graphics card to be able to play games like Escape From Tarkov and Assetto Corsa etc, I am able to run almost all games on there max settings without a struggle from the GPU.The Gaming X Trio 4080 Super is absolutely beautiful to look at, very sleek with just the right amount of RGB completely customisable.I would definitely recommend buying this graphics card as it will entirely meet your expectations and more.I have been able to pursue other new hobbies like video editing, streaming and music production now with very great graphics, load and rendering times.

Title: Great but little issue with software
Review: The card itself is faultless, but the software to control the lighting crash my windows install to the point of loosing all my work an starting from a fresh install of Windows.Do not install the msi software if you already have rgb programs running, it will brick you machine.

Review: After months of battling driver problems with team red, RX 7900XT, I decided to return to the familiar territory with team green. Enter the MSI GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER 16G GAMING X TRIO is a breath of fresh air!The performance of this GPU is phenomenal. Everything I’ve thrown at this GPU, it’s handled flawlessly and it keeps temperatures incredibly low under 60°C even under heavy loads.

Title: GPU go ‘VROOM! VROOM!’ without the noise
Review: Initially upon firing up the GPU it would not run. Turns out my PSU was just not up to the job since I was taking a gamble with the existing 650 watt PSU. Ended up ordering in a Corsair RM850x SHIFT. This time it worked fine but I was getting a horrible noise from the fans. I was going to send it back as faulty but after a while I heard an odd clunk and then the fans all went Super quiet. I had to check they were still spinning and they were. It must have been one of the fans had got stuck in a weird position and then settled/moved.Since then it’s been running so quiet I can hardly hear it over the case fans. I’ve been experimenting with undervolting and overclocking. The stock clock speed is 2775Mhz. Not bad out of the box. But I wanted a little more out of it. Initially I set the memory clock 1000 higher in MSI Afterburner. It ran but power consumption was well over 400 watts! A little tweaking to the voltage curve in Afterburner and I am now sitting at 960mV with the same clock speed of 2775Mhz and a memory clock 900 points higher than stock memory clock speed (I don’t understand the reading of memory speed in Afterburner but anyhow it’s sitting at 12402Mhz from the stock 11502Mhz). My Time Spy score went from a little over 23000 to over 28000. All at a power consumption of around 240-260 watts and while still being cool and quiet.I would not call this GPU value for money. It’s a luxury item for many. AMD has some good offerings if you are not interested in Nvidia’s feature set. But for those who want just that bit more and can’t quite stretch to a RTX 4090 it’s ‘the deal’ if you can get it close to its MSRP. Right now there is also a Gigabyte Windforce model for £960 sold and shipped by Amazon (not a third party scalper), but it will probably sell out rather quickly from observing other models on other websites.You pays your money…

Review: I got this to replace a 4070 I had for only 1 day and there is a huge difference between the 2. Ignore the people who say there is no real gain by getting a 4080S over a 4070. Oh, yes there is. Same games and settings in Cyberpunk, Valhalla, Horizon Zero Dawn, and when they lagged out at 30 FPS on the 4080, I got into the 100s on this card.Furmark2 average benchmark on 4k at 140 FPS, for the 4070 I was getting 39 FPSThis card is undervolted running on a 750w Seasonic and the Memory has been running OC’ed +1700 since day 1.The only issue I have is I have a HYTE PCI riser extension so the card sits vertical which causes it to run around 39° C. I could open the case and probably will in the winter since the heat will be on, but the card WILL NOT FIT into the normal case I have, the interface is too big for the slots on the case which are made for low profile brackets on the board and risers on the side. Just make sure your case can fit this card.

Review: Right out of the gate, you have to keep in mind its a blower style card so its going to run hotter than a standard spec card. With that said, under heavy consistent load, this card stays around 70C which is perfect, and its exceeding all my performance needs.From an aesthetic perspective, which is one of the main reasons I went with this card, the build quality and looks are a 10/10. The metal casing is clean, beautiful color, and looks amazing. Is it big? You bet it is. But I was able to fit it into an ITX case no issue.
