Title: Really impressed with the heat resistance
Review: After using my welding gloves for metal casting and finding they don’t stop the heat for long, I was super impressed with these for the cost. Can pickup a hot mould and doesn’t travel through the glove at all.

Title: Reliable gloves
Review: My previous gloves were too small for my hands and were not good at protecting me from heat after just a few seconds.These, on the other hand, fit properly ( medium fits my largish but not huge hands) and I can rely on them to protect me whilst I pick up and move hot items.One thing not mentioned, however, in the advert, is the fact that, due to the material used, if you get the gloves wet then heat is transferred to your hands/fingers very quickly- so forwarned is forearmed!Overall, I am happy with the purchase and know they’ll do a good job for me. Recommended.

Title: Good gloves
Review: I have had more oven gloves than you can shake a stick at, some have been good, others not so good. Generally silicon gloves are the best for handling very hot items, plus the fact silicon won’t let in water or steam. However gloves or mitts made of all silicon are not very dexterous. These gloves have a small amount of silicon on them for grip, but are mainly made of heat resistant Aramid fibres. They are fairly bulky and thick, but if they were thinner they would not stand the heat so well. Therefore they are a good compromise between dexterity and heat resistance.

Title: DOES THE JOB
Review: I purchased these as oven gloves because:- firstly the old set of gloves are well worn and not as effective as they used to be due to their age, secondly, size!! most oven gloves are not designed to fit men’s hands but these are and that means when i do the cooking i can wear them instead of using tea towels or oven mits to pick hot things up from the oven. these are large, possible a bit too large for the wife but i like them because they are not tight on my hands AND they can detract a hotter temperature than standard gloves so if required you can hold a hot dish a little longer so if you have forgot to put heat resistant tray on your work surface you can still grab it whilst still holding your hot oven dish. Works for me – bit pricey but they are good.
