Title: Great quality a doddle to wire.
Review: Amazon was the best price for these sockets, I buy only MK stuff as its the best quality and they are very tidy looking sockets. These sockets (I was told) are typically used for computer equipment where the offset switches prevent you accidentally turning off another piece of vital equipment. Thisnis the reason I bought them to plug in PC equipment.When it comes to wiring all the terminals are on the top of the socket making it easy to see when wiring up. They comfortably hold 2x4mm cable if your running a heavy ring main.

Title: A very worthy contender for quality-concerned folk
Review: Seems to be even better than previous MK sockets, which to my mind had declined in quality over recent years (Crabtree were my go-to socket before); but this one is really excellent.The ONLY reason I’ve given it 4 stars is because the switches require noticeably less pressure to turn them ‘off’ for some reason, and my worry is that if one inadvertently knocks or lightly presses them by accident, that the power will be switched off. This may never happen, and hasn’t to date, but it’s nevertheless disconcerting. But like I say, the socket is otherwise VERY well made and finished, with lovely smooth edges to the front edge, switches and socket entry points.

Title: BE AWARE – switches are on the outside of the sockets
Review: Switches are on the outside of the sockets when most switches are between the sockets. This means the sockets are slightly closer and not all plugs will fit two side-by-side at the same time!

Review: … the socket arrived on time via Royal Mail, very easy to install, with the usual quality of MK. The socket was to replace an existing unit which had the switches in the middle, but due to it location it was more convenient for them to be outboard to gain access.Thank you.
