Review: We bought this for our son for Christmas and so far it’s probably been the best drone we’ve bought super accurate and handles really well, we’ve had many drones in the past ranging in price and this one is by far the best little gadget.

Title: Nice light up drone but pricey
Review:  This is a bright neon green mini drone, there is some assembly of the cage required, which to me now means it can’t go back into its box for storage without dismantling and potentially breaking it. It comes with 3 batteries which I am really impressed about. There is nothing worse than the battery going flat on these things after only a few minutes of play. The battery is easy to put in and slightly trickier to get out, as you are wary of the blades, but it does come out with some gentle persuasion. The remote looks quite complex but it isn’t after you have played around for a minute or so. My 8 year old can fly it semi-successfully. There is also green neons on this which makes it look super cool to fly at night or dusk.Although I think it is somewhat overpriced at £32.99 I would still recommend this item.

Title: Nippy little drone, easy to use with one-touch basic tricks. No camera.
Review: This is a fun entry-level drone for that brings out the enjoyment that you get from larger, more expensive drones.This drone is lightweight, and comes with a propellor shield (that protects both drone’s plastic blades and anything that touches them (plants, walls, people) from damage. It’s also pretty fast (and noisy) for such a small thing.In line with larger drones, you can pilot this with traditional orientation mode or “headless” which is much easier for beginners (as it matters less which way the “front” of the drone is facing). There are also buttons to do tricks. 360 Circle Fly was easy to do (it will circle around a 1m radius), but I couldn’t get the flips to work. The one-button landing and take-off were helped get started with the drone sooner (and when I eventually let my kids play, removed some of the more challenging aspects of piloting.)This drone is clearly aimed at novices – they include a number of spare blades and a propellor shield because they realise that in real-use these things can get damaged – and can be replaced on the spot – so that the fun doesn’t have to stop. Three USB rechargeable batteries are supplied which extends the fun (though note that each battery lasts about 5ish mins.I guess the one thing missing that I would have really added another play dimension would be a camera – but given the price, it’s exclusion is understandable. It’s still lots of fun zipping it about the house (and outside when it’s not windy).Overall, this is a fun nippy little drone perhaps better for older children (7+) that does get more fun with practice.

Title: Gret for younger drone pilots
Review: This is a good solution for younger drone pilots that want to get started with flying drones around, this one in particular has been used by our youngest who absolutely loves flying things however I was a little bit disappointed by how actually it’s actually working, I was expecting the batteries to be able to run the drone for a good 20 minutes however basically you get two to three minutes on each battery which just isn’t enough to be able to enjoy and means that the batteries are always uncharged and never on for long enough to enjoy it properly which can get rather frustrating for younger users.

Title: Good safe drone fun
Review: This is better than I expected, it’s about as noisy as you’d expect, but it really does handle and move around incredibly well, considering it’s toy level.The rechargeable batteries are a bonus too, it’s always welcome to have toys with this feature.The cage around the blade are super for keeping kids fingers safe, as well as everyone else in the house!I am not sure this is going to be for outdoor use though, as it was quite hard to use in a light wind in the garden.Overall, a nice toy that will get plenty of use.
