Title: Fast and no nuisance steam
Review: Drain rice in sink in container to clean it . Use one cup of rice to 1.5 cups of water . Add few drops of cooking oil and some salt . Seal lid and microwave for 12 mins for perfect cooked rice . Simple to clean out . The one cup was enough for meal for the two of us . Brilliant and cost saving

Title: How to use Instructions
Review: Arrived with No instructions on how to use. Very much a guessing game on how much water and time needed to cook the rice. Result was the boiling water came out of the lid and settled into the reset used to lift the lid, making it very difficult to take the lid off.The draining holes of the internal pot are very small and takes sometime for the water to drain out.Over all quality is good, but not having any instructions of how to use makes this item poor

Title: Cooks vegetables well, too
Review: Wanted something just for vegetables and even though this only seems to be sold as suitable for rice it actually works fine for them. I fill the inner perforated container full of mixed, chopped vegetables(enough for three meals!) and then drizzle cold water through them to coat them in water. You don’t need to add any extra water to the bottom of the outer container. I cook on full power for two lots of 7 minutes.

Title: It works.
Review: First things first – it works. It steams rice in a microwave – which is what I wanted from a microwave steamer. Now the downside – it’s really hard to get the lid off without giving yourself 3rd degree burns. There is no handle to lift the lid. The lid fits really snug – which helps produce a lot of steam – which is great for steaming food – but when you do finally manage to get the lid off (using a knife) the steam pours outward (and upward) taking the skin of your arms with it.
