Review: My recommendation on this is that to get the full effect, you really need to use this projector in a very dark room. The colors become more vibrant, the overall effects are much more immersive. I initially tried using this in a mostly-dark room and found that the projections seemed quite washed-out and “fine” but nothing really great. Moving it to a very dark room helped tremendously, but it does just slightly limit where or when I can use it.I didn’t have too much trouble with focusing the lens or switching out the little plates. It’s a very nice overall projector, but just make sure to follow the instructions.One of the things that I really liked and appreciated were the sheer number of plates to use. There are quite a few options, and changing them out is easy enough to do it as often as you want.The unit does get quite hot, and I can see why there is an automatic shut-off. I’ve found that my best use-case is to turn it on before I get into bed and read. It helps to turn my bedroom into a spacey, escape place in which to drift off to sleep. I usually don’t read in bed much beyond an hour, so the hour shut-off time is perfect for me.The one thing I do wish it had with it is a remote control. I have a couple of other projectors and they both have remotes. I’ve probably just gotten used to using them, but I feel the lack on this one.

Review: My son has been wanting a galaxy projector for a while now. The look and quality of the lower cost projectors has turned me off the idea, and the higher priced ones came with slides that had nothing to do with the Galaxy, and I couldn’t justify the purchase when 1/4 of the slides were not what my son would have wanted (ie a T-Rex, Santa, hearts,)When I ran across this projector I had to get it! I was not disappointed, where it is set, with proper focus it looks amazing!!!!ProsSturdy constructionStand that easily allows for adjusting the angleSlides that are actually Galaxy related and not cartoonishClear slides for realistic projections.Meteor effect is coolEasy to useConsIt comes with a usb to ubsc cord, but no base. Review: I kept seeing this thing all over social media and other places and thought, “Nah, it must be fake pictures.” But when I had the chance to try it, I gave it a shot.And wow, I was impressed! Yes, it’s a projector, kind of like the old slide projectors if you remember those, but with really nice images. It comes with a moon picture installed and 12 additional ones. Some aren’t that great, but most are pretty cool. It also has a little moving effect that makes everything even better, along with a meteor effect.The manual mentions that the films are “consumables,” meaning they will fade over time with use. It recommends switching them out periodically to prevent overheating, which could shorten their lifespan. So, if you’re planning to leave it on all night in your kid’s room, keep in mind that the film might melt if it’s on too long.So far, it’s great. I love that it uses a USB-C connection, so you can plug it into any USB port. It also works with QC and PD chargers (though not all of them, unless it’s a standard 5V USB).Of course, the room needs to be dark for the full effect.
