Title: Not for eyelids.
Review: My niece is a dispensing optician and she’s always on to me about the importance of looking after the skin around they eyes. I already wear spectacles with blue light filter lenses, but I don’t wear sunglasses or use eye cream nearly enough.This eye cream claims to be SPF 30 and give 5 star UVA protection. I don’t know how you test either of these claims so I’ll have to take them at face value.The instructions are to avoid direct eye contact (which is the norm) and the listing shows the cream being dotted under the eye but doesn’t give any indication as to whether this is for eye lids too, however the instructions on the packaging are explicit – avoid eyelids. This is a shame as my main issue is with my slightly crepy eyelids. Ah well.As an under eye cream this is nice – it’s cooling, soothing, smooth and easy to apply, but it doesn’t seem all that different to other creams I’ve used. I like that it’s a pump rather than a squeeze tube, but it’s hard to know how full (or empty) the tube is.At £39 for 15ml (as at 8 February 2024) I think this is a bit expensive for my liking, and it doesn’t quite do what I want it to. Almost but not quite.

Review: Not worth the price tag for me. I don’t mind paying more for a good eye cream and I wanted something with spf. The cream is very thick, but my undereyes do not feel much hydrated/nourished after applying. The worst thing howevever it stings my eyes. I appreciate the spf creams that are not designed for the eye area can do that, but this is eye cream! The tube also requires some rethinking as it doesn’t know what to be a pump or squeeze type of tube.I will not be purchasing again.

Title: Great eye cream, packaging could be better
Review: I’ve been using this eye cream alongside the Medik8 Crystal Retinol eye cream, so it’s really important for me to protect my eyes in the day as I’m using retinol in the evening. This eye cream claims to be SPF 30, so it’s great to use if you’re using actives that require you to have SPF in the day.The cream itself is nice and thick. With no scent and a cream colour it’s easy to see once it’s blended and it doesn’t leave any white cast on my already pale skin. The cream is thick so needs some patting in but it does disappear very quickly considering. It’s doesn’t leave any kind of stickiness or feeling on my skin.The packaging itself is hit and miss. It’s a squeezy tube with a pump and I find that sometimes the pump doesn’t want to dispense anything. Meaning I’m having to pump 10 times before I get any cream out. Considering the price I wish the packaging was better and more reliable.

Title: Visibly less puffy and tired eyes
Review: The Medik8 Advanced Day Eye Protect cream comes in a neat little box with a 15ml tube inside.The cream is thick and easy to apply around the eyes with particular attention on any loose skin, under eye bags or crows feet / troublesome areas.The SPF factor and skin boosting properties are great to ensure any sun or environmental damage is limited.I use the cream at night after removing all make-up and cleansing. A pea-size amount should be enough and used regularly it does seem to help reduce some puffiness, fine lines and leaves the skin softer with great tone and smoothness.The price is comparable with leading brands and it seems like a very good product to gift.

Review: While I have just tried the creme for two days and like, I cannot do it longer as I have received the tube that is almost empty. It takes five sqeezes to get a tiny bit of creme and the tube looks flat like there is nothing inside. Very deceived.
