Review: These G9 bulbs are slightly longer than the bulbs they replaced but we’re easy to connect and control. Integration with Alexa was also straightforward.The colour control was good although if you have a multi bulb fitting you will need to adjust all individually to start with.

Title: Pricey, But Smart
Review: It’s not very common to find Smart G9 bulbs, so I was really pleased to find these as I have a bedside lamp that uses G9, and I’ve love to make it smart, unfortunately these are quite a bit bigger than a standard halogen G9 and they don’t fit through the hole in the bottom of the fitting so I cant use them.I gave them a test in a different fitting, and they work as expected, you really need a diffusing lamp for these as if you can see the LEDs they are blinding and in a weird pattern. Depending on the brightness you set there is some audible whine from the circuitry up close.They work on the Tuya Smart Life app, and as I’m sure you’ll know if you use that, you either love it or hate it. I’m firmly in the hate camp, and like re-flashing my Tuya products with something a bit more trustworthy on my network and compatible with Home Assistant. Unfortunately these use a modern Beken firmware thats not software flash-able. You can open them and solder (which works).. but I would class these as extremely difficult to safely disassemble and reassemble.They are pricey, but I can see why as when you look at whats in them, its incredible they exist at all.

Title: Easy to install and get online but one died
Review: I had given a 5* review until one bulb stopped working completely after only one month. Tried the other bulb in the same socket with no problems. Tried the dead bulb in another socket and it remained dead.These bulbs are about 1cm longer than the plain G9 LED bulbs that they replaced. They support a full spectrum of colours from the Smart Life app or Alexa. The actual bulbs have several clusters of the different types of LED that are needed for this.I installed them one-by-one so that I could identify which bulb was which. Once I switched the bulb on the Smart Life App recognised their presence without even having to tell it I was adding a new smart bulb. Almost as soon as they were registered, Alexa picked them up from Smart Life. Some of the easiest Smart devices I’ve ever installed.A full range of colours and brightnesses are at your command.I renamed each bulb as soon as I could through the Smart Life App so they would be logical, as opposed the long random name that comes by default.

Review: These bulbs supposedly will connect via wifi in SmartLife app, but no. They only connect with Bluetooth. They do not easily work with Tuya, which is annoying. Once connected in their weird way with their own special little app, they do respond to control and are better than “dumb” halogen G9 bulbs. If you happen to try enough times in enough different ways, eventually you might get them connected to Tuya, and then they respond ok. Having wifi control of these little bulbs is a great idea, just needs some work on connectivity.

Review: I got 16 of these lights for a chandelier and the lights work great for one single color but getting them all set up and working in sync is damn near impossible in the app. Its basically next to impossible and some lights respond to singles form the app while others won’t and you have to continue close the app and re-open it to because the app will freeze and stop issuing commands to the lights. Considering how expensive they are, the product doesn’t seem that well. I tried to put all the lights and single color and some would change and some wouldn’t. Tried putting them all into white in the last photo and half of them changed other half didn’t
