Review: I found that this works great for beard oil as well. I put this on my hands and massage into both my hair and my beard, soaks in and leaves both soft.Has a bit of a nutty smell, not over powering at all just a subtle hint of nut. Big bottle so should last a long time even using it on more than my head.

Review: have noticed it really seeps into my hair, which is a 4C type texture. oil usually sits on top of my hair as it’s not incredibly porous, though this really sinks in and seems to nourish each strand. i use all natural hair products, and used this in conjunction with my water based flax seed gel and they worked together ok. i do feel like one should be applied after the other, not maybe simultaneously. just to give one time to do its thing before introducing another thing. the oil does still take a while to fully dry out on me, and i know it’s recommended to rinse out for most people, i actually used it as an overnight leave in and it really made a difference in how soft my hair was to the touch. not sure on its regrowth potential, as it’s only been a couple weeks at best, but i’m optimistic it’s having a beneficial influence regardless of if i see immediate growth results.

Review: You can instantly feel it work into your scalp. It has a light smell to it that’s not over bearing at all. I’ve noticed growth with 2 weeks of using. I’d recommend applying every other day to see results.

Review: I’m not much of a lotion person, but I’ve found Batana Oil to be pretty good. My first exposure to it was a slightly more expensive version, which was very thick and had a noticeable nutty smell. This seems like what you would get if you mixed that in about equal portions with water. I don’t entirely think that makes it a less *useful* product–it’s actually kind of nice for it to absorb more quickly, and not be as stuck on your hands. Though it’s worth knowing that you’re getting about half a bottle of water in this transaction.

Review: I recently discovered batana oil and it works great for my hair, and an unexpected benefit is how nice my hands feel after using it. So, now I apply it to my hands and massage it into my nails. My skin feels soft and supple and my brittle nails are stronger and look smooth. I only need a few drops and the results last all day.I have tried several versions of batana oil and the thick, rich balm-like oil obtained directly from Honduras is definitely the best. It does have a strong, smoky and almost earthy scent that is also reminiscent of coffee, chocoate. Which probably sounds awful, but I really like it. While I have found batana oil doesn’t affect the growth of my hair, it definitely helps heal my dry irritated scalp and my long, baby-fine hair is shiny and healthy looking. Some of the lighter-weight oils from other regions also work well, but many that claim to be pure batana oil are either blends or not real batana oil at all.This oil is housed in a dark-colored glass bottle and arrived nicely boxed with the dropper packaged separately. The oil has been freshly bottled and the expiration is two years in the future.Unfortunately, the oil itself just doesn’t feel as rich as I expected. It is a nice golden color but it is light-weight, fairly thin and even a bit runny. The scent is also not very noticeable. It doesn’t weigh down my hair and it does leave it looking very nice after a shampoo. On skin, it absorbs quickly with no tacky residue but it doesn’t feel as if it penetrates deep into my skin and the results aren’t very long-lasting. I have very dry hair and skin and this oil just isn’t right for me.
