Review: The brushes are all nice, the bristles are soft and the handles feel good enough. They’re not the best brushes I have ever used but they work just fine and with the sheer amount of options you get with this set it’s a great value. This set would be perfect as a gift for someone just starting out with makeup who needs a good variety of tools to learn with.

Review: Wow. What a nice complete set for applying makeup. It’s great to have all of these matching pieces to help keep everything looking nice and organized. The brushes all come with a wrapping around each one to keep the bristles in place. The bristles aren’t the absolute softest I have ever felt but they are plenty soft for applying makeup and the bristles don’t fall out. A little bit of black smudged off from the makeup sponge to the thumb applicators, but that doesn’t affect their function at all. Overall this is a great set for the price.

Review: Firstly, for the price, WOW do you get a lot of brushes and sponges. There’s no doubt that the value is there – you basically get every brush you could ever need to apply makeup / powder / liner / etc. Even a beauty blender and a little matt to help clean your brushes. The brushes are fluffy and made of ( I assume) a synthetic material. I really like the eye shadow brushes.The downside is that the quality isn’t the best. I was super excited to use the concealer brush, as I’ve been looking for a good one, but unfortunately, every time I use it, small chunks of brush hair come up. I end up with brush hairs all over my face as well as pulling out large clumps to put it in the garbage. I have noticed some of the other big brushes (like blush) have the same problem, although the concealer one is the worst. The eye shadow ones are holding up better and don’t have a lot of fall out yet, but I’m not hopeful that these brushes will last a long time as I think they are cheaply made. I also hate that every single item was wrapped in it’s own plastic – so wasteful and unnecessary.If you’re getting this set for a young girl just starting her makeup journey, it’d be great as she wouldn’t know any better. But if you’ve been doing makeup for awhile and have used superior quality brushes, you will notice the difference. That being said, I will continue to use them, until they fall apart. I do like the the powder pads & cleaning sponges – that’s a nice touch.
