Title: So tiny and so perfect for the job
Review: We needed small black screws to attach items to the side of an existing cupboard. We found it very difficult to find in local hardware stores either they only had brass coloured screws of the right size, black in larger sizes or small packs of extremely expensive ones of what we were looking for. These were perfect for the jobs we had.

Review: Absolutely useless screws, screw head bores off almost from the first turn then screw head broke off leaving me with a screw in the wood but no way of getting out. May as well be made of cheese, don’t waste your time. Returned

Title: good set of black little wood screws
Review: This little box of wood screws is a good set with 6 different sizes ranging from 8mm to 40mm in length and all are finished in a lovely black finish so if the head is exposed, they look really nice.The heads are well attached with a good deep Philips fitting that stands up well to me putting them in with my impact driver. I like the fact they are self-tapping but for the longer ones I do recommend a small pilot hole for them.The box is very nice and keep them organised well but it’s a shame it doesn’t have the sizes of each screw marked on the compartment, plus the fasten clip lasted one opening and closing before it broke.Overall, it’s a good set of well-made screws that have worked perfectly for me putting some shelves up. priced at £6.99 I think they are good value for money, but the box is a bit of let-down.

Title: Neat little compartmented box that houses the 120 black self-tapping cross-head screws.
Review: The price tag of under £7 for a 120 screws is, in my opinion, good value and I really like the small plastic box they are contained in. You get a wide range of M4 screws in six lengths (8mm, 12mm, 16mm, 20mm, 30mm, 40mm). For my general purposes this is a very useful range of sizes (you get twenty of each size). I don’t do a huge amount of DIY and any DIY I do is not likely to be a huge project… so I am more often than not looking for quite small screws and this kit is perfect for my needs.The screws are described as self-tapping and they do have good ‘point’ on them and a nice sharp ‘deep cutting’ thread. The cross-head is accurately formed so you can get a good grip on the screw head with your screwdriver (or drill driver).The manufacturer states that the screws are made from Carbon Steel, which has a higher corrosion and anti-rusting properties than ordinary screws might have. Obviously I have not tested that. It looks to me like the screws have a painted black finish.This is a handy set of generally smaller-sized screws which I think any DIYer would find useful to have in their toolbox.

Title: Strong and precise
Review: I was confused by the product description, as my understanding was always that a screw is either a wood screw (for wood, obviously), or it’s a self tapping screw, intended for thin or soft metal, such as on a cooker, stronger and consequently more expensive than wood screws, but these seem to be described as both. Be that as it may, these screws are tough, with sharp points and threads, superior to run-of-the-mill screws. I deliberately tried to abuse one, by forcing it into wood with no pilot hole of any kind. In soft pine it simply went straight in, while in tough hardwood it still went most of the way in until it jammed, but came out again without the head shearing off or the cross recess wearing away. This intentional misuse convinced me that these screws are stronger and more reliable than most.A recommended product.

Title: Decent screws for small DIY jobs
Review: This little box with smaller screws is good to have when doing occasional DIY jobs around the house. We usually buy screws 1000 in box and bigger than these for wood works. Fence and shed has been recently built so plenty of screws went for the job. These little screws will be handy for small furniture mending, kitchen cupboards, etc. Husband said that these screws seems be good quality but they are pretty expensive for the quantity we get…

Title: Average quality, not for outdoors
Review: These are definitely cheaper than what I normally use for woodworking. Reasonably strong and sharp.None snapped, but I always drill pilot holes.Definitely not for outdoor use though; I forgot a few on the garden table, and after a few days, they showed signs of rust.Personally, I would go for all-weather ones, but it really depends on what they are used for.
