Title: case arrived bashed, but otherwise happy
Review: As other reviewers have said, the size of the kit is smaller than expected (I suspect the photo of someone using the red handle ratchet in an engine bay is badly photoshopped and makes the tool look much bigger…). The number of tools included however seems really good and will prove a handy addition to the household toolbox.The part of the box that holds the hex sockets doesn’t hold them in place (as in if they don’t clip in, knock the box over and they’ll go everywhere) but most of the rest of the tools seem to be held in place nicely.The case is a good addition but the plastic does feel a bit thin (hence mine arriving a bit squashed on one external corner) and you can squeeze parts of it and see it deforms easily, I don’t think it’d last long if used daily in a workshop, but for casual/home use it should be okay.For the price it’s alright. I suspect there would be many other options within the same price range that’d also have a few niggles but overall I’m happy with it and would recommend to someone in need of a fairly comprehensive and compact socket/tool set.

Title: Good little set
Review: Having owned a couple of small socket sets, this was the size I anticipated.It is a great compact set of tiles with a lot of extra boot found in regular socket sets. There are screwdriver bits, torx bits, a couple of Allen keys. a screwdriver handle and a flexible extension bar. Plus a few other extras.The ratchet has a button to make for easy release of the sockets. And the screwdriver handle has a socket in the end to allow the ratchet to be used with it too. A great little touch.My only minor gripe is that some pieces slide around once you open the case.It is only a Â£15 set, so it isnâ€™t top top quality, but it certainly is well worth the money.

Title: Perfect for the Occasional DIYer
Review: Â I’m impressed with this socket set, it has a very good range of bits, including screwdriver bits, which makes it the only set that the occasional DIYer will need. Quality materials used throughout (Chrome Vanadium in particular) and some good ideas – for example the screw driver doubles-up as an extension for the ratchet handle (see my video).The ratchet handle uses a lever to change rotational drive direction, which is a feature found in premium top – brand kits. It’s also very comfortable in the hand whereas some makes are all-metal and quite uncomfortable to use. Being a 1/4″ inch drive, it can’t apply the amount of torque needed for larger fasteners, such as vehicle wheel nuts, but for items around the house, flat-pack furniture assembly, bikes, scooters etc. this set is just right.There are some handy extras such as allen keys, a hex-to-square drive adapter (so the bits can be driven with a power screwdriver), universal joint and a flexible drive shaft for reaching into awkward places. There is also a t-bar handle but honestly you are unlikely to need it given that the ratchet handle is easier to use.The box keeps most but not all of the items in place – the remedy is to replace the sheet of sponge with a thicker one. It’s a very compact box and that’s achieved by clever design of the interior.Good materials, everything well made and an excellent range of bits – you can’t really go wrong with this set.Video: On a PC, left mouse click the maximise symbol, bottom right corner, to view the video full-screen. Title: A great little set of drivers at a good price
Review: When I first got this it was smaller than I expected – but everything is there and it’s a really handy little set of tools. A couple of the components had moved in transit, but most of the various sockets and tools had remained in place. The tool box measures approx. 23.5cm wide x 12.5cm deep x 4.5cm high and weighs 1.16KgThe main ratchet handle has a neat locking mechanism so that whatever you attach directly to it cannot be pulled out. There is also a normal screwdriver-type handle, which some sets don’t have and which is very handy. This is quite clever because it actually has a square socket in the top, meaning it doubles as a 14.5cm extension. Overall, if you connect all the extensions together (excluding the universal joint) you’ve got approx 41cm of extension. What I also really like is the inclusion of a hex-to-square adaptor, meaning that you can attach any of the tools to a standard power-drill; I can see me using that a lot!The flexible extension doesn’t actually bend very far at all. Holding one end of this 14cm extension I couldn’t bend the other end much past 2cm. However, the universal joint does a much better job of getting around corners, so that’s largely irrelevant.The only other criticism I have is that many of the screwdriver bits are only labelled on the shaft of the bit, not on the chrome socket end. This means that on some of the bits the label is partially obscured (see photo). On the 7 and 8 hex bits the size wasn’t visible at all.However, overall this is good little kit and at Â£15.99 at the time of review I think it represents good value.

Review: Wie schon in der Ãœberschrift zu lesen handelt es sich hier um einen 46-teiliges steckschlÃ¼sselsatz. Die QualitÃ¤t und Verarbeitung finde ich hier auch total in Ordnung bisher macht das ganze hier einen guten Job. Ich denke gerade fÃ¼r Heimwerker sollte man so einen Satz definitiv immer im Hause haben. Ich habe den steckschlÃ¼ssel jetzt schon Ã¶fters in Gebrauch gehabt und bisher hat er mich nicht enttÃ¤uscht. Hierbei handelt es sich um das Material Chrom Vanadium. In dem Set ist eigentlich fast jeder steckschlÃ¼ssel dabei den man so im Haus haben sollte egal ob fÃ¼r fahrradreparaturen oder jegliche andere Reparaturen ist der Satz hier definitiv sehr gut geeignet. Im groÃŸen und ganzen bin ich absolut zufrieden mit diesem Set und kann es auch gut und gerne weiterempfehlen das ganze macht einen super Job und wie schon gesagt die Verarbeitung ist ja auch top. Ich habe ja absolut nichts zu meckern und kann diesen Satz von daher auch gut und gerne weiterempfehlen.

Review: Since I don’t know much about tools I asked my husband for his opinion on this wrench set since he’s the handyman of the house.According to him it is a very complete set and it has all the tools with different measures that you might need to fix different thingsHe was actually very happy with this order and he felt like it was Christmas :)Although the quality is not five stars on the finish of every piece they are certainly solid and they look like they will last for some timeAs well you have to consider that because of the nature of these tools, you really don’t need a polished and beautiful surface but you want the tools to be strong, durable, have a good grip and to be easy and reliable to use themAnd because of these reasons I would totally recommend this tool set
