Title: Fade in function doesn’t work properly
Review: If you just want a smart bulb that you can set the brightness and colour temperature of via an app or your voice, it’s a perfectly nice smart bulb.If you want a bulb that you can use the app to program to come on in the morning at a very dim brightness and fade up over about half an hour as part of a nice, gentle easing in of the process of waking up without burning holes in your retina, then move along and look at the next bulb in your search results, because this is not the bulb for you.Whilst you can indeed set the Alexa app to program fades in either direction, whatever brightness level the bulb was set at when it was turned off and whatever brightness level your fade program is set to fade up from, when it turns on it flashes at 100% brightness before dropping to the starting brightness you’ve set for it. Which kind of defeats the point of programming a nice gentle fade.As asides, the minimum brightness level it displays is not particularly dim, the maximum brightness level when you actually want it to be full on isn’t particularly bright, the warm white setting isn’t particularly warm and the cool white setting isn’t particularly cool.But it looks nice.
