Review: I can’t compare these with other makes as I’ve never used them before, but I can honestly say that these really work to cut out most noises for me and greatly reduce any really loud things such e.g power tools. I am an avid gardener but had not been able to enjoy it recently due to a neighbours constant noisy wind chimes ( 7 sets of bamboo clunkers, metal janglers) all placed for catching even the lightest breeze. However, now I just pop on my ear defenders and get lost for hours of perfect peace.

Review: The ‘Link Dream 𝐄𝐚𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 Adults, NNR 35dB Kids Ear Defenders Children, Sound Blocking Safety Earmuffs’ do block sound and do fold into a compact size for travel.Manufacture quality is probably described as ‘basic’. Though adjustment can be made, it is a little awkward and while making one side large the other side can have a habit of popping back into it’s folded state – a little like wrestling an octopus. I have a ‘large’ but not ‘extra large’ head and on max adjustment they barely fit me. The fitting is extremely tight on all sizes of head and this was trying on all members of my extended family from age 3 to 53.Noise reduction is pretty good, higher pitched noise does get through louder than lower pitched. They are not especially comfortable or uncomfortable except gf the tightness – which I can feel mainly under my ear.At £12.99 they are not expensive, however I am slightly underwhelmed by the lack of luxury on them – I will keep them as workshop spares to be used in an emergency.

Title: Useful pair of ear defenders, unless you’ve got a big head…
Review: These fitted my elder and younger grandchildren really well and also my wife, however, they were a bit of a stretch for my large head and as I use ear defenders to protect my hearing whilst discharging firearms they need to be a snug fit, secure and comfortable, which in my case these weren’t. However, for the rest of the family with normal size heads they were a good fit and did the job of blocking out a significant amount of noise, but they do not cancel out all noise. They do fold down quite significantly so they don’t take up a lot of space in a bag, they do have a habit of wanting to fold down the minute they’re off the head.
