Title: Better for speech and music without much bass – easy to connect
Review: This little LENRUE A10 Mini Portable Bluetooth Speaker measures just 95mm x 95mm and 55mm thick. As such it doesn’t have the size for truly shattering bass. It’s pretty good with voices and lighter music, but any bass is rather lost. Drums are not its forte.It claims to be waterproof and suitable for the shower, even IPX5 rating is mentioned. However the instruction manual says not to put the speaker in sunlight r moist place for too long and don’t use it if it’s raining. This seems more careful than the official standard for IPX5, which is; Water jets. Water sprayed for 3 minutes at 4.4 psi (30 kPa), with 12.5 liters per minute.Bluetooth setup was straightforward, and recognised instantly by my phone and computer. There is also USB-A port and micro SD slot in the back of the speaker should you want to play music from a memory card or via a cabled device. Charging uses a micro USB connector, and there’s a USB-A to micro USB cable supplied. It would be so much better if there was a port to charge via USB-C. All these ports and card slot are hidden under a silicon cover.Battery life is ok it worked for 8 hours constantly and still had life left. Charing time from completely empty is two hours.It’s a good inexpensive speaker, that falls a little short musically and I’m not going to take it in the shower.

Title: Great for the money
Review: This is a powerful and compact Bluetooth speaker with soft touch plastic finish. I connected this to my phone Bluetooth without issue and it was up and running immediately. It is deceptively loud for a small speaker and distortion and there isn’t any distortion to really speak of. Definition is in line with the price. Simple tunes with distinct notes and few tracks are clear and crisp. More complex tunes with multiple tracks and voices are a bit more muddied but this is to be expected with a small speaker. It has a passive radiator at the back which resonates with the changes of air pressure in the enclosure caused by the active speaker. This seems to work well and sound is clearly audible from both the back and the front. The resonator is a floating disc which is unprotected and might be vulnerable to knocks and such. I guess it might just encourage one to be more careful with it when out and about.The marketing shot of it being submerged in water is completely at odds with the waterproofing rating. IPX5 means that it is tested and found secure against a low-pressure water stream from any direction. Don’t submerge this speaker in water!It has the usual USB-C charging port but also a USB-A output port so that other devices such as your phone can be charged from it if you are in a fix. It’s a useful extra.When connected calls come through the speaker and the built in mic enables you to take calls without picking up the phone. The mic works but the person I checked this on said it was a bit faint so you might have to speak up.All in all, this little budget speaker is definitely worth the money

Review: PROS-nice and compact-decent splash proofing-robust exterior-nice colour-sound is acceptable, for such a small speaker-will take a microSD card, so no need to pair it with a sound source (navigating songs on a microSD can be a challenge)-good valueCONS-listing photo number 2 says “stereo sound”, you can’t have stereo with a single coned speaker. Review: Pros:fits in my backpack for camping and beach trips. super convenient for any adventure.IPX5 waterproof was amazing. sand, water and occasional splashes at the beach and camping trip was no issue.The 5W speaker was surprisingly loud and clear for its size. great background music at the beach and around the campfire and everyone loved it.Pairing with my phone was easy and connection was stable even with some distance. Big plus during both trips.Verdict:I took this Mini Portable Bluetooth Speaker to the beach and camping trip and it exceeded my expectations. compact and waterproof was perfect for outdoor use. The sound was good for its size and performed well in different settings. I recommend it for anyone looking for a tough and compact audio for their adventures

Title: Fab little speaker though bass could be better and be careful of the hidden re-dial function
Review: This is a great portable speaker for days out at the park or beach. It’s small, light, very tactile and pairs really easily with your phone.Sound quality is pretty good. The speaker is loud. You can’t use it in full volume indoors. Mid and treble are clear and crisp but the bass is lacking somewhat and this is more noticeable the louder you turn it up.It’ll be fine for your average garden party or bbq though as long as the soundtrack isn’t drum n bass.It will pair well with Spotify and the pause, forward and back buttons will work seamlessly to allow you to scroll through your music. It also works for a fair distance away from the music source as well.One thing to be careful of however is that if you hold the pause button down for too long, the speaker will re-dial the last phone no you called on your phone! This is not advertised nor does it appear in the information leaflet.It’s unclear if the speaker also has an inbuilt mic (it’s not advertised) so I’m not sure why it has that function built in unless the Bluetooth chip it uses would ordinarily be found in a set of wireless headphones. Anyhow it WILL redial the last number you called/spoke to so be careful that it’s not someone you’d rather those around you didn’t want to talk to!
