Title: Can’t fault these flex-ended spanners, very affordable, no issues with applying a fair bit of torque
Review: They arrived double wrapped in plastic pouches, the outer packet is a small self-stick plastic bag and each of the two spanners have their own sealed plastic pouch. Both spanners are finished to the same standard with a flat grey plated finish, and they’re both made well with no roughness or other blemishes. The listing specifically mentions ‘polished’ but it honestly just looks like they were tumbled and plated with something, it’s totally fine but polished implies a mirror shine to me.The flexible ends of each spanner with the ratchet works as expected, and they hold their position surprisingly well, thanks to the fact that it takes a bit of force to reposition them. Time will tell if they become floppy as they wear in but as they’re just screwed in it shouldn’t be a huge deal to tighten that up and add some threadlocker if it works loose.£9.49 for a pack of two feels like a great price in my opinion. They do the advertised job without an issue like any other cheap spanner. At this price they’re a very affordable option if you specifically need a pair of the same size spanners. Though honestly, even buying the two-pack from Leliafleury if you only needed one spanner might be worth it as it’s only a couple of quid more expensive than single 8mm spanners from other brands and vendors.
