Title: Not for me, but still good
Review: I used these a few times but found the holding spot was not easy to hold nor as cool as I would like. I’ve since replaced them with a version with handle holes, which better meets my needs. These are good quality and ideal for a sourdough used with a Dutch oven, for example. It’s also a great start kit. Still recommend.

Title: Bread Sling
Review: Getting sourdough in and out of a deep Le Creuset Dutch oven can be tricky. This silicon bread sling is the answer as you can use the long handle pieces to easily lower or lift up your sourdough without burning your fingers.Of course you can make a homemade sling using parchment paper but this is a superior answer as it’s reusable, non-stick, strong and doesn’t deteriorate in the heat like parchment paper. The silicon sling is quite thick and feels safe and strong to transport a big piece of dough to the Dutch oven.This kit has 2x bread slings, a plastic dough scraper/ cutter and a silicon brush to brush butter on the Dutch oven and or the dough dough loaf.

Title: A simple but great idea! Work well – good addition to my bread-making armoury.
Review: I like these “bread slings” (two supplied), I’ve not only used them regularly for bread but also for cakes and sponge puddings. I have used them in a deep rectangular tin to successfully remove a loaf (all it takes to get the bread out of the tin is a tug, the rest of the crust lets go and out it pops). At first I used two in the tin, but it works just as well with one sling.I tested the sling under what I thought would be tricky conditions by using it when making ciabatta which is a very wet and sloppy dough (pictured). It worked perfectly as you can see in the video. I’ve used these about 20 times now and one is very very slightly browning at the edge and the other is still as new – I’m convinced they will last a good long time. They’re easy to clean but mostly I just brush the crumbs off, roll up and put away without any cleaning necessary.The slings come with a couple of tools – a basting or oil brush (pretty standard fare – you see these everywhere – this is the better type that does not lose its bristles) and a dough cutter/scraper. This is actually a really nice item – flexible silicone with a stiff inner core: great for thoroughly scraping dough from the bowl. It only really works as a cutter on softer dough.

Review: Got this for my husband and he things it’s great. He always struggled with getting the booked bread out but this makes life easier! Feels sturdy and easy to clean in dishwasher or by hand. Definitely a must have for all bakers!

Title: Not just for Dutch Oven
Review: If you are going to buy this bread sling specifically for the purpose of making bread in a Dutch Oven that you already own, make sure you measure your oven very carefully first. I thought this would fit but it is about a centimetre too large and so does not fit flat on the bottom due to the slight slope to the bottom of my Pyrex brand cast iron Dutch Oven. I do however use my air fryers most days and when cooking something in a low round dish it has always been a struggle to remove with out burning myself or sticking my thumbs into the food and ruining the appearance. Enter these slings, they fit both my air fryers, a Cosori 5.5L and Instant Vortex 5.5L but are a better fit on the Cosori because the flaps can be folded into the space between the cooking basket and main basket. Place your loaded dish in the centre of the sling, lift holding the sides of the container with the sling flaps and lower into you air fryer, finally tuck the flaps out of the way. The slings are of professional quality as I have several baking mats for my main oven that are constructed the same way I know they last for years. The dough bowl scrapper is the best quality one I have ever seen to date with a metal insert for rigidity in the main part but with soft flexible edges where needed and the little basting brush is just lovely. I received this set to review for free but I can honestly say that for the quality and functionality it is well with the price in the listing.
