Title: Useful Spanner
Review: This Brake pipe spanner is nicely made and performs the task required of it very well.The only downside to it for me was that the ratchet adjusters on the spanner that you use your thumb to rotate the ratchet mechanism to open the jaws of the spanner are made of very thin plastic and will soon break if you are a bit heavy handed or if you drop the spanner onto the hard floor. At this price and buy a good mid range manufacturer like Laser, I would have expected metal or alloy adjusters. You can still adjust the ratchet mechanism when the plastic breaks off, but its just not quite as easy.I had to return one I purchased because the plastic adjusters must have got bashed during delivery and had split on both sides of the spanner.So in summary, a good useful spanner, just treat it with a lot of care. Would have expected better from Laser.
