Title: Takes me back to my childhood
Review: I have been searching for one of these sandwich makers for ages, my grandmother had one in the 1970s and she always made me a toasted egg sandwich so this takes me back to my childhood, we still had it till it broke in the 90s so I am over the moon to get another one. It is easy to use and quality is good. It is just perfect definitely better than the other sandwich maker machines that you plug into the wall as have tried them and though they are good was not what I was looking for, I am a happy customer.

Title: Cheap and not easy to use
Review: This product is cheap price wise, but again get what you pay for. The diamond shape when open is hard to get bread to fit. Top and bottom section should not slot into each other, like two sections of box or tin, upper and lower.. The design of product with screws on the plate makes it impossible to stand straight to toast contents. Tried it twice. Will be heading for charity shop. Might be ok if put in bonfire, but useless on stove top.

Title: A let down
Review: After having used a similar product for years, I thought this would be an improved version of the older product. To my dismay looks were definitely deceptive in this case. The non – stick claim is an absolute sham. Every single toast ended being a clumped up blob. Worst was the cleaning part as no matter what we tried we could not get rid off the bread bits that were charred and stuck to it. I ended up chucking it in the bin and using my old but reliable hand toaster.
