Title: Decent Bluetooth “receipt paper” printer, let down by the software
Review: I was quite interested in this product at first, as it seemed like a nice, small, battery-powered, portable thermal receipt-paper printer. And it is. It would be great for POS systems, or just a quite receipt if you’re running a stall, and I’ve even used similar items to do things like print off notes in meetings or give a friend a QR code or similar.The printer itself is great – charges quickly, no-fuss interface with just a power-button, comes with several spare rolls of thermal paper, etc. The print quality is good, and it’s very quick.However, unlike the other Bluetooth thermal printers I’ve used, this one refuses to work without the app. Normally you can load up something like the ESC-POS app on Android and just print, but this one refuses to let anything else print to it.Unfortunately, the app link in the manual only goes to a download of an APK file from a website and expects you to manually install it (which would also require turning off a security setting on Android). As an IT guy, trust me and never do that.The same app is present on the Google Play Store (the QR code in my image will take you there, it’s called “Fun Print” by yintibao. I installed the app that way because that’s the only way to get a trusted version of the app that’s been scanned by Google for security issues.The app itself is, also, rather mediocre. The built-in templates are very basic and not very pretty, and there aren’t many of them. I managed to make a quick QR code easily enough, but the options are all rather basic and even the size of a “label” in the software (these aren’t sticky labels, these are receipt paper) is fixed at a maximum of 50mm x 50mm. Even the clipart was terrible.This is a great little printer, let down by terrible software. It’s likely that the APK version is more “up-to-date” but no manufacturer should be expecting people to use a non-App-Store app nowadays, especially from a random manufacturer that you haven’t heard of.If they improved the software, or even made it so you could print from any software, it would get a 5* rating.

Praticamente con solo della semplicissima carta, in dotazione un po’ di rotoli, ti permette di stampare qualsiasi foto in maniera velocissima. Quindi con i miei amici ogni sera immortaliamo e stampiamo i momenti più belli e poi li incorniciamo. Con la mia compagna stiamo praticamente tempestando casa di foto di qualsiasi genere.Il fatto che la stampante sia piccolissima è vantaggioso in quanto posso portarla dove mi pare. Il materiale è veramente buono e la forma gradevole. La carta è semplicissima da sostituire ed è possibile caricarla con una semplice presa usb

Review: I absolutely love this printer. It works just as it says and it’s easy to hook up. I am able to print stuff off my macbook and iphone. I’m a year 11 student and I have so much note taking to do for homework so this printer saves so much time when I need to draw diagrams but that’s probably just cause I’m a bit lazy. However, I rate this 5 stars simply because it’s very handy and it works perfectly. :))
