Title: Great looking budget keyboard
Review: Although this keyboard is labelled as a ‘gaming keyboard’, it really is just a regular keyboard that has some of the stylings of a gaming keyboard. However, considering the low price, I think it’s actually a really nice keyboard to use, and definitely looks a lot better than most keyboards for this price.The keys, although they look like mechanical keys, are just regular keys, and don’t have the typical clicky feel of a mechanical keyboard. However, they are still comfortable to use, and they look good against the RGB lighting. The lighting has four settings (three colours plus ‘off’) that can be changed via a button on the keyboard, so you can choose a style that suits you, and holding Fn and pressing Pg Up and Pg Dn allows you to change between three brightness levels, plus ‘off’.The keyboard is lightweight but still weighty enough to sit steady on a desk without easily being knocked sideways. The USB cable feels about the right length, and like virtually all modern keyboards, setup is literally plug and play.If you’re looking for a ‘proper’ gaming keyboard then this probably isn’t the right product for you, but if you want something cheap that looks good and still has a reasonable build quality then this is ideal.

Title: Good value keyboard and mouse
Review: This set is firstly and foremost a budget pairing, as you can easily spend twice as much on a decent branded mouse, so this review is taking this into mind. Of course a set costing quadruple or more is going to be objectively better. This set is aimed at the budget conscious gamer and at that demographic, it is perfectly fine. The keys are nice and responsive, have a nice action and are truly fine for ghosting, which is non existent here. The build quality is what you would expect, the main base has some flex but is sturdy enough in use. The RGB is simple but fairly nice and the spacing/placing of the keys are pretty much standard affair.The mouse is a little gem from what I can tell, it feels nice in use, is clicky enough for my tastes at least and it tracks really well. There seemed to be no tracking glitches for me, but then I don’t flick hugely in fps games.If you are looking for a good value gaming set as a gift for a child, then you could do much worse. This set wont ever win awards, but it will certainly do until it needs replacing.

Title: Not really a gaming keyboard, but it’s not awful
Review: This keyboard from KOORUI is a non-mechanical keyboard which has its advantages and disadvantages, on one hand it’s quite nice to type on and isn’t as loud and clackity as mechanical keyboards can be (my video makes it sound a lot louder than it actually is!) but then on the other hand you’re missing the precise key strokes and ability to swap keys that you get with mechanical keyboards. Essentially this is a regular keyboard dressed up as a “Gaming” keyboard. They claim “mechanical-like” key feel but compared to my mechanical keyboard I’m not feeling it.The lighting is fairly basic, you just get three lighting modes rather than the addressable RGB you get on other keyboards. Having said that the lighting does look pretty cool and if you’re happy with the standard pattern then it works well. You can also choose you turn the lights off if you prefer.Build quality is reasonable, though I have noticed the space bar occasionally makes a squeaking noise. The wrist support is a little short for my liking and I don’t find that it offers me much it the way of support.The mouse is a similar story, it is a perfectly acceptable mouse but I wouldn’t really call it a gaming mouse, it’s just a regular mouse with some lighting on it. It is responsive and the buttons, wheel and general feel of it in the hand are good.Overall it’s a nice enough keyboard and mouse set, however I feel it is priced a little too high for what it is and without the lights it would be marketed as a standard keyboard/mouse set.

Title: Excellent keyboard
Review: The keyboard is affordable and visually appealing, with RGB lighting and comfortable keys. It’s stable on the desk and has a convenient USB cable length. The mouse has 6 buttons with adjustable sensitivity. While the keyboard doesn’t have authentic mechanical switches, it provides a mechanical-like feel. Overall, I find the set suitable for my non-professional gaming needs.

Title: Not ‘mechanical feel’, despite the description’s claim to be mechanical
Review: A couple of years ago at a local theatre, I saw a play advertised as a farce that felt like it had been written by someone who’d never seen a farce. Let’s just say it wasn’t good.The only way you’ll think this has a ‘mechanical feel’ is if you’ve never used a mechanical keyboard.Having the description say “This gaming keyboard is equipped with mechanical tactile switches that provide a satisfying click sound, offering enhanced accuracy and faster response times while typing” just makes it worse – this is a membrane keyboard.You can remove the keytops and if you do, you see the keys go down a square shaft to press down on the membrane. This probably is the reason for the slight friction you can feel and the slight scraping sound that happens when you press a key.I’ve seen worse keyboards, but you can get real mechanical ones, albeit using clones of Cherry switches, for not much more than the £20 /£28 this is priced at.
