Title: Great for lemons
Review: Brilliant. I bought this to juice lemons. I was put off by the other reviews but then bought this as there weren’t many choices. It’s great for juicing lemons, to press is perfectly conicol for lemons and gets all the juice out. Its sturdy and easy to clean. I tried it with oranges but it doesn’t get all the juice out, I think it’s the wrong shape for these.

Title: Nice looking heavy press but could do better
Review: I agree with other reviewers that the top cone doesn’t quite line up with the bottom and due to the bottom cones shape it doesn’t get all the juice out. This is a press rather than a turning grinder and I think the squeezing turning action of other juicers is simply more effective. In its favour it is built with a heavy quality and does squeeze a fair amount of juice – albeit from the middle of the orange only. You have to finish the skins with one of those cheap coned hand juicers to get all the remaining juice from around the skin. I might buy an electric citrus juicer instead which are just a few pounds more, no more or less messy and they all get all of the juice out. This is OK tho.

Title: Not very good – Needs re-designing.
Review: Unfortunately it’s not a great bit of kit. It’s flimsy and poorly y made. It does look good but fails to deliver on its looks.I juice limes regularly – and this probably got 25% of the juice out of the lime. My handheld squeezer get nearly all the juice.I had one of these lever presses before that was excellent – well designed and simple to use – this however is a poor relation.
