Review: I really like this toaster. It looks good and it toasts evenly. One really nice feature is a button that sets it to only toast one side of each slice, ideal for hot-cross buns and bagels. However three things are not so good.A full size slice from an 800gm Hovis loaf (you can hardly get more standard than that) sticks out of the top so the top 1cm is not toasted. The slot isn’t long enough to put the slice on its side.It has settings from 1 to 7. The breads I have tried are very well done on 4, I can’t imagine using anything higher so half the range is not useful.At first it worked really well but now (possibly since I used the ‘one side’ toasting button) it now toasts one side much less than the other. I intend to return it.
