Review: So, I got meself this Air fryer, innit? Couldn’t splash out on a fancy Ninja Foodi or them posh brands. Now, I’m a bit of a newbie with these Air fryers, gotta admit. But lemme tell ya straight, them preset menus, they’re bang on. I chucked some chips in there, hit that chips button, and bailed – took a solid 32 minutes, mate, from ice-cold to proper crispy fries (180C – 32 minutes). Maybe crank up the heat, it’ll be quicker, but I just rolled with the presets, y’know?Roast Chicken? That took a decent 40 minutes. So, I had a ready meal from the freezer to me dinner table in less than an hour. Not too shabby, eh?Now, I didn’t fork out a fortune for this, so I didn’t expect miracles, and guess what? It ain’t no miracle worker, but it does the job fine and adds a bit of flair to me kitchen. Just keep in mind, mate, that handle can get proper hot, so don’t forget your oven gloves when you’re pullin’ out your roasts or fries from this bad boy.

Review: I usual use a Halogen Oven. In fact have used one for over 10 years but after having 3 that only lasted just over 12 months I gave up on them. Already have a cheap Air Fryer which I mainly use for chips and chicken portions so when my last Halogen Oven gave up on me I looked for an Air Fryer with a see through door. This is because I like to keep an eye on bacon, steaks etc when cooking. Also needed it for frozen breaded fish, scampi, chicken burgers etc. This machine if wonderful just press the cooking option I need ( the pre-set buttons all have different cooking times and temperatures) adjust the time/temp if required and away it goes. Like the Halogen Oven I just check on it and turn the food when necessary. The only complaint is lack of clear instructions but as nearly every electrical item I buy now is rubbish on this point it’s just a matter of trial and error. The little booklet has a small page on cooking items with recommended times and temperatures. Just fold it to that page and refer to it until you remember the options. To adjust times and temperature just keep pressing the relevant screen pad and it will go up to max time or temperature then go back to the lowest setting. Keep pressing until it’s at the time/temp you want. Try it a few. times before you cook the food and you will soon understand how to adjust time/temp to your needs. Very easy to do and for the price no-one could possible complain. I don’t have a proper oven, will only use this and my other Air fryer to cook with. Well worth the money. Unlike the Halogen ovens I have had in the past I just hope it last longer than a year. Sue
