Title: Tiny and great
Review: The feel is sturdy, easy to use as it’s super tiny and can be on the zipper of my laptop bag as a key ring. The storage space is as indicated and it has taken even big files super quickly. For what I needed it for it is just great! I truly hope it will last a long time.

Title: Recently arrived – so far so good
Review: I bought this purely because I am really happy with my current smartphone, a Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro, and I am happy with how much money I paid for it as it was a nice offer what I got, but there is just this little detail in mostly all the smartphones I like and that is the fact that they don’t have a microSD card anymore.As someone who used the phone daily, very often and for both work and social activities, I had the feeling that 64GB would just do the trick but will require me doing periodical cleanings of documents, pictures and files in general to maintain the phone at its best performance level.This is how I arrived to think that there had to be a way to increase the memory of my phone, and I came across to these flash units that serve exactly the purpose i just described.Sure it is better (and just wise) to back up the files you save in the pc, but that’s why this piece comes in handy. It allows me to simply connect the piece to the pc via USB just as easy as it connects to the phone itself.I received my unit today and the first thing I’ve had to do is format it to store files from my phone. At least for my phone model, this has been a pretty easy and straightforward process: I simply connected the usb and a message appeared saying that I needed to format.I simply had to click yes and everything started working. The rest is just like an SD card, I can create folders easily, etc., and it just needs to get ejected before you disconnect it.I must admit that it has given me a weird warning saying that I needed to format it just after I loaded a couple of test videos, but I unplugged and replugged and everything went well.I have it hanging from my phone so that I can plug it and unplug it anytime I want, so my expectations are that it will behave as promised and be mildly shockproof (at least as much as the phone itself), etc.On the warming issues, yes, it does warm up quite fast, but since I don’t intend to use it intensively nor leave it plugged for extended periods of time (unless I’m recording a video or something), I don’t see much issue right now.All in all, I am quite happy with the material, the feeling, the easiness and the speed of data transfer, and also with the size as it is really small and lean, precisely what I was looking for.If my first impression is indeed correct, then I’d say that I recommend this little gadget.

Review: It’s hard to believe where they fit the 128gb capacity! Great little device with a quality feel to it. The swivel part clicks reassuringly into place covering either end. The read and write speeds are always higher with bigger capacity memory sticks. I did a physical test of writing a 3gb file using the USB 3 and USB C connections, both were able to write the file to the memory stick in about 49 seconds (the same file took 12.5 minutes on my old 16gb memory stick.

Title: Looks Great, But Not Car Compatible
Review: I got this to use on my new car, the old USB side for my pc to put music on, the USB C side to connect to my car. Newer cars do not recognise this device as a proper USB stick.I tried connecting the USB C side, it showed an error. I got an adapter to plug the old USB side in, same error. I can connect different USB storage devices to my car and they work, it’s just this one does not sadly.It’s compact and a nice looking device, feels good quality. Sadly it doesn’t work in cars as advertised.

Title: Perfect for backing up your phone
Review: The dual-plug Kexin USB flash drive – I bought the 128GB version – is perfect for backing up folders on my Android phone. I’ve used ZArchiver to create tar archives directly on the drive and it works perfectly and pretty fast. Tar because there’s minimal compression overhead (actually there’s no compression at all, but the archive needs to be created) and because tar is a widely readable format. I’ve then connected the drive to a Chromebook also with a USB C connector and I was able to open the archives with no difficulty with ZArchiver. The same when I plug the drive into a Windows 10 laptop using the USB 3 plug: I can open the archives using 7-zip.The only worry is that drive gets very hot in use, even when connected to my phone. But otherwise it’s perfect and very good value for a dual plug drive.
