How to use the keep warm function?

Step 1

Add water to the kettle. Remove the basket, and fill it with tea leaves.

Step 2

Select a preset Tea Type or manually set your desired water temperature.(Hot Water is 100℃.)

Step 3

Nobody wants cold tea. To hold the kettle temp up to 95℃ for 120 mins with British Strix Technology, just press the Keep Warm button on your kettle.

Step 4

Enioy hot beverages anytime without re-boiling.

Q: Will it rust? How to clean it?

A: The metal part is made of 304 stainless steel, it will not rust. Some users find something like rust on the bottom, which is a mineral substance in the water attached to the bottom, add some vinegar or organic acid and boil, you can wipe them off. To reduce the chance of scaling, try not to pour out all the water when it just boiled. （It’s normal if your kettle exposes spots or rust on the stainless steel bottom after the first use if the water quality in your area is so hard.）

Q: How to Descale/Clean the Kettle?

A: Filling the kettle with 1 cup of vinegar or lemon juice and 2 cups of water;

Boiling the liquid and leave it for 2 hours, then use a cloth to clean and wipe;

Rinse the kettle with clean water, and dry with a soft, clean cloth;

Repeat as needed.
