Title: Just what I expect
Review: I am very happy with this blender which arrived on time and was a pleasure to use for blending some soup Iâ€™d made. Worth purchasing. I bought it with the Kenwood mini chopper and Iâ€™d already received the Kenwood hand whisk, both equally as good as this.

Title: Good masher, splashy blender
Review: Love the masher on this – it really is a charm to use. And strangely satisfying watching noodles of mashed potato forced out of the top of the blending grill. Easy to clean too, as the plastic blade pops off separately. Alas, this is much less fun on the tri-blade chopping device – I bought this model as it specifically claims to have been designed with anti-splash in mind, it is specially shaped etc – I’ve owned many cheap stick blenders. This is the most expensive I’ve had, and I do not expect to be spattered in the face, hands, and all over my tiles whilst blending a smoothie. The supplied plastic jug is lovely, but despite only filling this a quarter full, I have to hold my hand firmly over the top of the jug as liquids literally spit through the grill design.

Title: Brilliant and very easy to use
Review: Oh I love this and so happy with my purchase and had a reduced price too! I have had a cheap blender for some time and itâ€™s ok but thatâ€™s all it is. So splashed out and treated myself to this just before Christmas. The blender makes soup making a doddle and the masher- WOW! I thought my mash might be a bit sloppy but the taste and consistency were just perfect. Would highly recommend and see the difference from cheaper models!

Title: Good and powerful
Review: The hand blender is worth the price, I’ve used it for a while now and is now my go to item for making basic chutneys and shakes. The masher attachment is good, but user very less as we don’t make mash a lot. Overall great product and worth the price.

Title: Blade broke
Review: Had this for just over a year and only used it in the cooler months very occasionally on softened veg for soup, considering its hardly been used and never used on anything other than cooked out leeks and small pieces of potatoes cooked until they’re falling apart in plenty of liquid I’d have expected it to have lasted longer

Title: Great handblender.
Review: Creamy smooth lump free mash, tasty vegetable or chicken soups! Love using this hand blender, I put it straight into my cooked ingredients in the saucepan and it does the job itâ€™s supposed to do easily! Iâ€™ve had one of these for several years now and bought this one for my son as a gift (at his request!!)

Title: Great as long as its internal fuse holds out.
Review: This was a replacement for a triblade mixer bought six years ago. The old one was a 700watt and worked well until, when blending some soup, it went ‘Dink’ and stopped. Turns out there is a fuse soldered to the circuit board inside the motor head that mere mortals cannot get at, let alone purchase a 2p replacement. Choking back unkind words about planned obsolescence, pollution, elfin safety, daft design, even dafter fuse rating I bought this. Now rated at 800w (let’s hope the internal fuse reflects this) it came complete with a masher, mug and triblade wand and was a couple of pence cheaper than the old one. The masher is rather good. Think power ricer. The blade pushed soft stuff up through holes in the shroud. So that this happens at a less frenetic and more powerful pace there is a neat gearbox on the motor end to slow things down. Very good. All the attachments from the old triblade fit too and the motor sounds a little quieter. Recommended in anticipation of it not going ‘Dink’. Great delivery and Amazon service.UPDATE 14th Oct 2018,Power ricer attachment impressive. 13amp UK Plug unimpressive. Mr Kenwood, 13amp mains power plugs have been made since 1947 and most manufacturers have made a good stab at getting them user friendly. The one moulded onto the end of your hand blender is awful. A real retrograde step. The finger grips are finger slips. I have fit hands but they slip off it annoyingly when trying to remove the plug from the socket. I shall fit a grippier plug such as those plugs with loop handles on top.
