Title: Feels good quality, but not fully Makita compatible
Review: Just got this and for under £50 it seems like a good deal.The drill feels solid, has a metal chuck, but isn’t super powerful – it’s quite easy to stop with your hand at the fastest speed. As a first drill for someone I imagine it’ll do pretty much everything with ease though.The problem is the batteries – they can’t be charged on a Makita charger, which you’d expect from the picture and which seems fine, but they also can’t be used on any proper Makita tools! They power fake tools just fine, but it seems like any tool with 3 connections on the bottom (not 2) will just refuse to work.I’d hoped to buy this as a cheap way into the Makita ecosystem for a friend but it pretty much means you can only buy non-Makita tools if you want the supplied batteries to work.I guess compared to £150 for the cheapest real Makita kit it still makes a lot of sense, but it feels like a missed opportunity

Review: This works OK for light jobs. I bought it to mount a video doorbell after the chuck on my old supermarket one failed. You will need better drill bits than the ones supplied as they seem pretty useless. Overall for the price it’s OK and two batteries are helpful, it’s really annoying to run out of power half way through doing a job.

Title: BANG!!!
Review: Bought this 2nd April, used the drill a couple of times charged the battery, for the reciprocating saw tool needed a charge again today 2nd June.Plugged the charger into the battery , then charger into the wall socket, switch on and BANG!!!!! blew the charger apart, tripped the electrics and scared the life out of me… now I’m apprehensive because I have a Katsu Router with exactly the same charger.

Review: Prodotto arrivato velocissimo come sempre il giorno dopo l’acquisto, integro e imballato corettamente. Purtroppo la delusione è arrivata subito. Apro la confezione e inizio a provare il trapano. Inserisco la prima batteria, cerco di avviare il trapano ma niente. Allora prendo la seconda batteria, la inserisco e questa volta il trapano funziona, ma altra sorpresa! Dal retro del trapano ad ogni pressione del pulsante di avvio si vedono scintille elettriche. Provo più volte ma sempre scintille. A questo punto provo a caricare la batteria che non funzionava, hai visto mai, magari è arrivata completamente scarica. Aspetto circa un’ora e il led del caricabatterie diventa verde. Tolgo la batteria che funzionava ed inserisco questa appena caricata, ma alla pressione del pulsante di avvio nessun segno di vita. Mi vedo costretto a chiedere il reso. Peccato, sulla carta sembrava un ottimo acquisto.
