Review: Instruction manual could be doing bmwith being updated and more detailed but overall item was great. Used it for cutting unistrut which was no issue at all.Great price aswell, would say well made.

Title: Sturdy unit but setting up is an issue.
Review: The angle grinder is securely located on a sturdy unit and this unit makes its use as a cut off saw rather safer and produces far cleaner cuts.The instructions weren’t at all helpful, the diagram is so poorly printed that it is difficult to relate the instructions to the diagram and the components provided. I can also see that alignment of the angle grinder so that the cuts are square is going to be difficult.

Title: Great value, even if it only lasts one job!
Review: Cheap and cheerful, not for fine work, ut cutting steep to weld into gates, just the job. Used my old grinder amd could do with a newer one a bit slimmer. Easy to build, works fine, makes sparks.

Title: Handy cheap kit
Review: This is by no means a precise perfect tool but it’s a rinne better than free hand. I was teaching myself to weld and the free hand cuts weren’t “cutting” it. For the sake of 30 euro this made all the difference

Title: Not worth it unless you cut a lot of metal rods
Review: This was an impulse purchase after watching a DIY video. Sturdy but roughly engineered. I had to file off a sliver of metal that was preventing the guide bolts from sliding. Set up instructions are not as helpful as they could be – do not identify which bolts are which. The blade cover bends out away from the blade – had to rig a piece of wire to pull it into place over the blade. The guides for the object to be cut are a pain to use. When I had set this up, I felt it had just turned my angle grinder into a far less versatile (and less safe) tool. Whereas before I could use the angle grinder to shave off lumps and bumps and to cut awkwardly shaped sheets and pieces of metal, now all I can do is to cut metal bars/rods and (because the guides are so difficult to use) I cannot do that terribly well. Regretting my purchase and will probably free my angle grinder from its constraint before long.

Title: Great idea but not so great in practice.
Review: I thought this was a fantastic idea & this is, mostly, a good execution of that idea. Ultimately, I had to send mine back as 1) the base wasn’t level – there was a slight hump, & 2) my ancient BandQ 500w angle grinder didn’t actually fit, with the blade hitting the base & being short of the intended slot. I could have padded it out with washers etc but angle grinders are dangerous enough as it is. I could also have bought another angle grinder but that wouldn’t have solved the hump issue. As for those instructions… holy cow they are bad!

Title: Not suitable for my uses, poor bearing spindle fit, clamp pretty useless
Review: At first I thought the quality of the product looked good. The castings and fittings seemed OK. However the spindle that the drop arm rotates on had too much play so making and accurate cut was impossible as there was about 5mm change in cutting angle as the pressure came onto the cutting wheel. The material clamp is also poorly engineered and in my opinion quite dangerous to use. My angle grinder is a 240 volt pro tool and heavier than a battery power or diy tool so the spring was not strong enough to hold the arm up. Returned for refund. I am now looking for a more robust metal cut off machine.

Review: Sebbene le istruzioni siano poco utili si riesce a montare bene. Quello che è più difficile è trovare la giusta regolazione di tutti i serraggi.Inoltre i cuscinetti hanno del gioco e il perno flette un po’, sicché abbassando il braccio per tagliare il disco si inclina più o meno a seconda della forza che si esercita. E non rimane verticale. Facendo venire i tagli un po’ storti.Se si irrobustisse il perno e i suoi cuscinetti sarebbe perfetto.
