Title: Works well. Can see why some had issues fitting the bracket
Review: Part arrived on time. Fitted it which took around 10 minutes. The bracket itself with the elbow contained fits well enough. The problem comes when fitting the u shaped locking pin. It is difficult to align the bracket to the pipe that comes out of the pressure washer, in particular the channel that the pin sits in. A couple of removes and refits abs I could get the pin about half way, through the first bit of the bracket and around around the pipe but not back into the bracket. Further inspection reveals that the second bit of the bracket is an interference fit and needs a small clamp to drive home. Once fitted all works well with no leaks and full pressure. My washer is a karcher K4 from about 5 years ago.

Title: If marcher used this part then I’d never have needed to replace it
Review: Superbly sturdy robust metal replacement for a less durable plastic original part. Very easy to install and works fantastically well. My only gripe is the split pressure pin that holds the hose in connection needs more tension now that it’s griping against metal rather than plastic. Highly recommend this replacement part.

Title: Karcher K4 Elbow Replacement.
Review: Metal elbow instead of original plastic one which split due due to water freezing in it. Common fault it seems. This part does the job and easy to replace up to the point if putting the U shaped pin back at the top. A few YouTube videos, several swear words and one rubber mallet later and job done. Now better than new.

Title: Not the easy fit but solved the issue
Review: Like many others have pointed out there is definitely a knack to fitting this.The metal elbow has to be pushed firmly onto the outlet on the karcher – it’s hard to get enough leverage while it’s in the plastic housing. I ended up lathering everything in wd40, lining up and pushing the fitting on as best I could before sending it home with a piece of wood and a hammer (carefully!) Once you’re satisfied it’s definitely on twist the plastic housing and insert the retaining pin.It might take a few tries but persevere 👍

Review: Kärcher hat den K4 lausig entwickelt. Das ist Billigschrott, besser ausgedrückt Billigplastik. Die Entwickler sind inzwischen ganz unten angekommen. Beim Spritzschlauchanschluss spritzte Wasser. Das Plastikteil war zerbröselt.Ich habe das Spritzgussersatzteil in wirklich einer Minute eingesetzt und es funktioniert tadellos. Chapeau!
