Review: I so much wanted this to work. I was so excited at the size of this tool, and how easily it could be handled to strip small gauge wire. But, in use, it fails miserably. Others have commented about incorrect sizing of the dial. I couldn’t get any dial setting to work on several different wires. Others also have commented about the length gauge being very loose. It seems to tighten and loosen at various times. I suspect that squeezing to strip causes the top/bottom of the tool to change positioning, resulting in the tightning/loosening of the length positioner.

Review: Plus facile a utilise qu’une grosse pince et plus rapide pour des operations répétées.Mais, il faut bien tirer le fil. si vous avez juste un petit bout de fil a denuder des deux cotes, ca sera on peu difficile a le tirer.Mieux choisir une taille supérieure a la taille du fil avant de commencer et reduir si le plastique n’est pas completement elimine. Choisir une taille plus petite va endommager le conducteur.C’est ma pince prefere pour denuder, mais le pris est trop élevé pour mon gout.

Review: I have used these stripping tools for years, they work for teflon jacket wire although the blades need to be set for the next gauge down from the wire you are using. I use the 24 gauge setting when working with 22 gauge wire, if you don’t it’s a bit frustrating as the wire requires several tries to get a complete strip. Then tool usually last one year of heavy use. these are plastic, so they are a little fragile too. If you work all day long as I do you appreciate thew light weight and can accept the plastic construction as a fatigue reducer.
